Largely self-taught, Greg Bracken loves to draw anything and everything – although his particular talent lies in capturing the likeness and spirit of subjects both human and animal.

Born in 1958 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Greg spent his childhood in Walworth County. As a young man, Arizona, San Francisco, and Boulder became home for the next three decades. Today he lives near Appleton, Wisconsin.

His whimsical, humorous side is expressed in what he calls his “doodles” of people and pets in the throes of ordinary life. These are the images featured in the book “Simply Celebrate - 101 Simple Ways to Turn Ordinary Days into an Extraordinary Life,” by Sherry Belul. The book is available at www.SimplyCelebrate.net. His portraits and drawings share the homes of clients and friends from coast to coast. Locally his work can be seen at Coventry Glassworks in Appleton-WI as well as Art Affair and Hang Up galleries in Neenah-WI.
