Snow Geese (Chen caerulescens) spend the breeding season in northern Canada.  Thousands of them overwinter in California's Central Valley.  Merced National Wildlife Refuge, CA.
 
Canon EOS 1V camera and 600 f/4 L IS lens with 2x teleconverter on Gitzo tripod with Wimberly head.  Fuji Provia 100F film, pushed two stops.  1/1000 sec at f/8.
