You will need to fly into and out of West Palm Beach (Palm Beach International Airport). Please board Stenella by 8am Tuesday morning and deboard Stenella by 10am Thursday morning. You will need to take a cab to and from your hotel or the airport to the marina. There are many hotels near the airport or marina to stay in if you need accommodations either before or after your trip (call or email Kali for suggestions). We ask that if you book a flight on the Thursday of your return that you do not book one before 2pm (to allow for delays in travel/clearing customs). Please note that you will be crossing the Gulf Stream with us to and from the Bahamas. Weather is variable and the crossing can sometimes be bumpy. Please be prepared if you are prone to sea sickness (bring medication such as Dramamine or Bonine).

All food and sleeping accommodations are provided on Stenella for the duration of the trip. Airfare to and from Florida and hotel accommodations are not included.

As a participant you will be asked to help us with various duties such as dolphin watches and data collection. You will observe the dolphins and other marine life underwater with snorkel equipment (not provided by WDP).

For information about booking a trip, or any other questions, please contact Kali at the research office at (561) 575-5660 or email at wdpkali@earthlink.net.

Join The Wild Dolphin Project on an amazing experience this summer! We have gotten to know a lot about this pod of dolphins, however there is still more to learn! As a participant you will help with routine data collection and dolphin watches. You will be able to observe the wild spotted and bottlenose dolphins underwater, in the beautiful waters of the Bahama sandbanks. In addition you may also get to visit other snorkel spots, such as coral reefs and shipwrecks.
Don't miss this chance to meet this wonderful, and friendly pod of dolphins, learn about the complex lives of these intelligent social mammals and the world they live in . We look forward to seeing you aboard Stenella soon!
