The current construction on the I-Way which will forever liberate us all from every traffic aggravation makes some of these directions hard to believe. But they really are the best way to get here and, as with all New England directions, less complicated than they sound


From 95 N:

Get onto Rte. 195 E (Exit 20). Take 195 E to Exit 1, "Downtown Providence." The exit ramp will put you directly onto a street (Canal Street). At your first light, take a right over the Crawford Street Bridge. Across the bridge, the street will bend around to your right and become South Water Street (You will be traveling back in the direction you just came but on the opposite side of the river). The second street that intersects South Water Street is Power Street. The Wild Colonial is set back in the parking lot you will find at the intersection of Power and South Water. Look for the black and gold sign. The door is under the sign. Come In.

From 95 S:

Get onto Rte. 195 E (the new bridge). Take it to the new Exit 2 (Gano St.) since the India Street option is not yet open, go left towards Gano St. At end of curving service road, take right. Immediately after the underpass, go left back up onto 195W --really-- and take it to the old exit 2 --South Main St. and follow "From 195 E" below


From 195 W :

Take Exit 2, South Main St. The exit ramp will put you directly onto South Main St. Turn left onto Power St.(your 4th left) at the end, turn left. The Wild Colonial is set back in the parking lot you will find at the intersection of Power and South Water. Look for the black and gold sign. The door is under the sign. Come In..
