April 28, 5:30 PM – Roadside Cleanup – Meet at the corner of Hwy 147 and Steiners Corners Road (north of Two Rivers, South of Mishicot)

 

May 16, 8 AM – Woodland Dunes Nature Center – Bird Breakfast, Display Booth  of Wild Ones and Rolling Acres

 

May 19, 5 PM – Maribel Caves – Invasive Species pull.  6:30 PM – Wild Flower Identification hike

 

June 9, 6 PM – Mariners Trail (Across from Greenwoods) - Plant and weed Wild One’s flowerbed

 

June 16, 6:30 PM – National Guard, Two Rivers.  Clean-up and pull invasive plants in wooded area.

 

July 21, 6:30 PM – Woodland Dunes Nature Center, Wildflower Plant Identification hike

 

August 8, 8 AM – Woodland Dunes Nature Center, Butterfly Festival.  Wild Ones will have a Display Booth

 

August 18, 6:30 PM – Woodland Dunes Nature Center, Hands on Invasive Species Identification – Gladwyn Doughman

 

September 15, 6:30 PM – Woodland Dunes Nature Center, Rain Garden Presentation – Jim Seiler

 

Fish Fry
May 15, 4:30 to 9 p.m.
Join us for a good old-fashioned fish fry and fund-raiser for Woodland Dunes at the American Legion Club, 811 Jay St., Manitowoc. There's a variety of menu choices and a friendly atmosphere.


East Twin River Paddle Meet
Saturday, May 9, Meet at 10 a.m., launch at 11 a.m.
Join the Lakeshore Sea Kayakers and Woodland Dunes on a river adventure as we journey from Mishicot to Two Rivers. Meet by the dam in Mishicot. Kayaks and canoes are available. For more information, contact Phil Rohrer at 794-8500 or philslunch@charter.net.


Migration Celebration & Bird Breakfast
Saturday, May 16, 8 to 11 a.m.
$4.50 adults; $3.50 child



Aegolius Bird Club
Open to anyone interested in the conservation and appreciation of birds. The club meets the second Tuesday of each month at at 7 pm at Woodland Dunes for a program, and also for a monthly field trip.
