Wild Ones: Native Plants, Natural Landscapes promotes environmentally sound landscaping practices to preserve biodiversity through the preservation, restoration and establishment of native plant communities. Wild Ones is a not-for-profit environmental education and advocacy organization.

Lake Woods Chapter Wild Ones Ltd. has established this web site with two primary goals:

Provide information about the Wild Ones organization and native plant landscaping to members, potential members and other interested people, and
Strengthen our chapter by helping communicate with our members, and by encouraging the exchange of good ideas among chapters.

Organization News

Hello Wild Ones!

May 16^th Woodland Dune Bird Breakfast. Our group will be selling wild flower plants once again. Anyone able to help unload the flowers should be there around 7 am.

TBD – Meeting at Maribel Caves County Park at 6:30 PM. The group will pull some invasive garlic mustard and do wildflower identification. Bring your wildflower guide books.

This chapter is located in the Two Rivers/Manitowoc area covering the Lake Michigan lakeshore area in Eastern Wisconsin. Meetings are being held the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM usually at the Woodland Dunes Nature Center on Highway 310, Two Rivers.
