DETERMINING THE HEIGHT OF
THE CENTER OF GRAVITY

One means of determining the center of gravity height involves tilting the car forward about its front wheels. It is necessary to scale the car before tilting and to measure both the tilt angle and the sum of the front wheel loads when tilted. Other necessary input is the wheelbase and the front tire radius.
