This is for those of you who run at 1/8 mile dragstrips. The following is similar to that found on Page 2, but for an eighth mile.

While the calculated speed should be quite accurate, the many variables which affect elapsed time cannot be adequately covered here. The calculated elapsed time, therefore, should be used only for comparative purposes. In other words, use differences in elapsed time when evaluating different gearing, different shift points, etc.
 

EIGHTH MILE PERFORMANCE

Change the following information to fit your car.

When inputting transmission gear ratios, simply repeat the last valid ratio to complete all six form spaces.

The answers are displayed when a tire type selection is made. It is necessary, then, to repeat the tire type selection whenever a change is made in the spreadsheet.
