Fried chicken dinner with White Acre peas and cabbage (December
21, 2005)

Barbecue plate with sauce on the side (December 21, 2005)

Country fried steak with gravy, corn fritters, green
beans, and a wedge of cornbread (February 19, 2008)
Fans of the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" have been
coming to Juliette since the movie was released in the spring of 1992. While
memories of Idgie Threadgoode and Ruth Jamison are one of the attractions of a
visit to the Whistle Stop Cafe,
a good Southern meal awaits as well.
This is not a place to eat if you are in a hurry. The sense of
being in a small town cafe from a long gone unhurried era is part of the charm of the
Whistle Stop Cafe. Sweet tea and other drinks are served in Mason jars.
