Smoakies Bar-B-Que is very convenient from I-75. The menu includes chopped pork, ribs, chicken, homemade Brunswick stew, and hamburgers. The bar-b-que is served with sauce on the side and there are four sauces available from which to choose. There is a kid's menu with hot dogs, corn dogs, and chicken fingers.

I really like the homemade sides such as Vidalia onion rings, cole slaw, and potato salad. A good dessert selection is available as well. Homemade pecan pie, banana pudding, along with apple and peach tarts (most people would call these pies). My peach tart was served warm and was very tasty.

One note about eating inside at Smoakies: the waitress does not bring a check to your table. So when you are finished eating, just go to the cash register and pay.

If you do not want to get out of your vehicle, there is a drive-thru window available.

Directions from I-75, exit 102:  go east on Ga. Hwy. 257 for a little less than a mile. It will be in the fork at Cemetery Road.
