Pig in a Pit features pulled pork sandwiches, but also has ribs and chicken, as well as sandwiches and wraps. The meat comes without sauce. Sauces are available in bottles on the tables including mustard-based, vinegar-based, as well as mild or hot tomato-based. Pig in a Pit has the usual side dishes of baked beans, slaw and fries. Other side dishes include roasted corn, fried okra, pork skins, and sweet potatoes with brown sugar, cinnamon & butter.

A basket comes with meat and one side. This may be a good choice for many people, as it comes with a good amount of meat. A pork basket comes with a slice of Texas toast, or you can order a pork sandwich basket if you want the meat in a bun as shown above. For big eaters, plates with two sides and bread are available.

Order at the counter. You will be given a plastic number to sit on your table and then your food will be brought to you.

Pig in a Pit is kid friendly with several choices available including grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and chicken tenders.

Directions from I-75, exit 172:  go east for 0.3 miles and Pig in a Pit will be on the right (south) side of the road in a small shopping area.
