The Lighthouse has a great Southern buffet for lunch on Sunday with fried chicken along with a good selection of other entrees, vegetables and desserts. The entrées on one Sunday that I visited were fried chicken, catfish, streak-o-lean, cube steak, and fried chicken livers. The selections will vary, but the entrees will be mostly Southern fried food. The vegetables included creamed corn, macaroni and cheese, fried squash, stewed tomatoes, purple hull peas, turnip greens, sweet potato soufflé, and creamed potatoes. The desserts included excellent peach and other cobblers, banana pudding, baked lemon pie and several other choices.

In the evenings, the menu changes and the Lighthouse features catfish and other seafood. The Lighthouse is three miles north of Milner on Old 41 Highway and is definitely a good place to eat.
