Tom & Sandy's Horseshoe Restaurant is a great place to get some good Southern country cooking. A buffet is featured. When you walk in, you take a plate and serve and seat yourself. There are usually two meat choices (three on Sunday), salads, and several vegetables from which to choose. A waitress will bring you your drink. If you do not want to eat from the buffet, there is a limited menu which is cooked to order.

The desserts are usually very tasty and may include homemade cake, cobbler, pecan pie, cookie squares, etc.

Two caveats: (1) If you arrive late, sometimes there is slim pickings at the buffet. Additional items will be brought out, but late arrivers may miss out on some choices. (2) On Saturday, a spaghetti buffet is always featured.

Directions: The Horseshoe Restaurant is on the north side of U.S. Highway 341 in downtown Hawkinsville. Or using the Pulaski County court house as a point of reference: The Horseshoe is one block south and about 0.4 miles west from the courthouse.
