Tom & Sandy's Horseshoe Restaurant is a great place to get some good Southern country cooking. A buffet is featured. When you walk in, you can take a plate and serve yourself. There are usually two meat choices and several vegetables from which to choose. The desserts are usually very tasty as well. A waitress will bring you your drink.

Two caveats: (1) if you arrive late, sometimes there is slim pickings at the buffet. If so, you can order something from the menu. (2) On Saturday, the normal Southern food buffet at lunch is not available. Instead there is a spaghetti buffet.

Directions: The Horseshoe Restaurant is on U.S. Highway 341 in downtown Hawkinsville. Or using the Pulaski County court house as a point of reference: The Horseshoe is one block south and about 0.4 miles west from the courthouse.
