Granny's Kitchen is a good place to get some crispy fried chicken. Seat yourself and a waitress will serve you. You can choose either white or dark chicken. Also, there are usually two other main entrees available such as meat loaf or fried pork chops. The selection of side dishes available on one visit to Granny's included green beans, okra & tomatoes, squash casserole, field peas with snaps, collard greens, rice & gravy, macaroni & cheese, oven brown potatoes, and cornbread dressing. Homemade vegetable soup is on the lunch menu as well.

Biscuits or cornbread come with the meal. If you would like to try some thing different, ask for the lace bread instead. Lace bread is a crisp, thin fried bread. The lace bread may not be on the menu, but ask your server anyway as it is normally available.

Dessert choices are banana pudding or a slice of pie.
