Carter's Fried Chicken is a popular place in Cordele for fast food and is known for its good fried chicken. Fried chicken livers are also available.

Order at the window outside or from the drive-thru window. In June of 2007, a new building replaced the old one at the same location. Additional parking was added where the older building once stood. There is no inside dining area, but there are picnic tables for eating outside as shown in the picture above.

Directions from I-75, Exit 101:  go west on U.S. 280 for almost 2 miles and then turn left at the traffic light onto U.S. 41. Go south for about a half a mile. Carter's will be on the left (east) side of the road.
