The Bulloch House sits on a small hill near the center of Warm Springs. This gray Victorian house was built in 1893 as a family residence. It was converted into a restaurant in 1990. Several rooms now serve as dining areas.

It features a buffet with Southern cooking. Fried chicken, homemade biscuits, and fried green tomatoes are available every day. The other buffet items will vary from day to day. You can check the daily buffet menu by calling the number above to hear a recording, although only the current day’s menu is given.

The menu on a day that I called was: fried chicken, hamburger steak with gravy, chicken and dumplings, string beans, creamed potatoes, pinto beans, creamed corn, fried green tomatoes, fried apples, and salad bar.

Catfish and hushpuppies are available on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Homemade desserts such as banana pudding, caramel cake, six-layer chocolate cake, and peach cobbler are available. The desserts are not included as part of the buffet and must be ordered from your waitress.

Directions: From of the center of the town of Warm Springs, go southeast on Ga. Hwy. 41 (Roosevelt Highway) and the Bulloch House will be on the left almost immediately. It is within easy walking distance of the town center.
