Buckner's Family Restaurant is famous for its fried chicken. You will serve yourself at your table, normally sharing a table family-style with several other diners. The daily menu is fixed and always includes fried chicken. Barbecue is typically the other meat choice, along with an assortment of Southern vegetables. The one dessert is usually peach cobbler.

The food is placed in bowls on a lazy Suzan in the center of the table. The bowls are refilled, as needed.

Buckner's Music Hall is adjacent to the restaurant and has gospel or bluegrass music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Direction from I-75, exit 201: go west about 1/4 mile and turn right at the traffic light onto Bucksnort Road. Go 0.5 miles and Buckner's will be on the right side.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing
to him a psalm of praise.   (Psalm 47:7)
