The Bear's Den is a small cafeteria that has some of the best fried food in Macon as well as a good selection of vegetables and desserts. It is a very popular destination for lunch. The fried chicken is available every day, but the rest of the menu varies daily. There is a separate door on the right side of the building for carry-out orders.

Directions from I-75, exit 164:  go east for 0.4 miles and then turn right (south) at the traffic light onto College St. Go 0.3 miles and then turn left onto Oglethorpe St. The Bears Den will be on the left (north side) just a short distance after the turn.
