Spoilers: The Abduction
Irina glanced at Jack's retreating figure. His words had stung her. She leaned against the glass and silently traced the
spot on her left hand that had once held a ring. The ring was long gone but she could feel the phantom weight of it.
She turned around and closed her eyes. Jack's words were ringing through her head. Accusations and bribes, making her feel
sick. She had never imagined that her betrayal would tear apart her husband and duaghter so badly. She had thought that Jack
would grow closer to Sydney. She knew now that she had been sadly mistaken.
She slowly walked to the small, metal bed with the thin matress and sat. As much as she would like to leave this cell,
she wasn't going to lie. She had turned herself in to get away from Cuvee and fix her past mistakes. Only Jack didn't believe
She laid back and her mind drifted to the rest of the conversation. They were still married. A small smile graced her features
as she thought about the happiest years of her life. She had never expected that Jack would break her barriers and make her
regret joining the KGB.
She had loved him and when Sydney had come along, she had experienced the joys of having a tiny family all to herself.
It was getting harder and harder to keep secrets from Jack. All she wanted to do was break down and tell him everything. To
have him hold her and tell her that everything would be ok. But deep inside she had known Jack would have reacted very differently.
Her superiors had been getting more suspicious and had demanded information from Jack's projects. She would give them little
things to tide them over but they would become furious and protest that she was getting too emotionally attached.
She laughed bitterly at the memory. What did they expect when she had married someone? She had emotions and feelings. She
had shared a bed with Jack for almost 10 years and he had known every inch of her body and how to get any reaction out of
Even now, the looks they shared between the glass made her yearn for his touch once more. Their last night together was
imprinted upon her brain. She would never forget that day as long as she lived. She had known that she would be leaving in
the morning and it had taken all of her power to keep from breaking down in front of her family.
She could hear Jack walking into their bedroom and she turned to face him, hoping that her eyes weren't red anymore. He
approached her and gently cupped her face. "Lar, what's wrong?"
A fresh wave of tears threatned to overflow, but she held them at bay. "It's nothing, Jack."
He studied her face and quietly undressed down to just his boxer shorts, climbing into the bed and holding her close. "Lar,
you can tell me anything you know." She sighed as he began to slowly rub her shoulders and place kisses along her neck.
"Jack, you know I love you right?"
He gave her a confused look, not knowing where this conversation was going. "Honey, are you sure nothing is wrong?"
She shook her head and leaned in for a kiss. His kisses could always make her forget where she was. He pulled back and
began to trail kisses along her neck making her squirm as he blew on her ticklish spots. She wrapped her arms around his neck
and began to place kisses wherever she could reach. She quickly pushed his boxer shorts down his hips.
He slowly pulled back, removing his boxer shorts and pushing her nightgown up to revealing her body to him. She grinned
when she saw the look of utter delight on his face. She pulled him back on top of her body and arched her hips, eager to feel
him inside of her. His hands explored her sides and she sighed as he entered her, filling her.
He kissed along her pulse point and she wrapped her legs around his hips, urging him to go faster. She wanted to remember
this night. He started a faster pace and she moaned his name as his hands moved her hair away from her neck and he began to
nibble the skin he found.
His steady pace quickened and she arched against him, urging him on. She shuddered and cried out as she came. He continued
to thrust inside her towards his own release and she sighed in contentment as he collapsed on top of her. She held him close
and breathed in his scent. His hands traced her curves and she turned her face to meet his.
They shared a lingering kiss and he moved away. She reached for him but he grabbed her arms and held them at her sides.
He leaned down and kissed along her jawline. He neared her ear and whispered, "Slow this time."
He took his time tracing her features and kissing every inch of skin he could find. Her face was flushed as he seemed to
memorize every inch of her body. He trailed kisses along her stomach and her muscles tightened in anticipation. His hands
traced her legs and he placed kisses along her thigh and calf, making her blush.
He moved back up her body and threaded his hands through her hair, massaging her scalp and relaxing her completely. She
closed her eyes and sighed in satisfaction as she felt all of her worries slip away. They had this moment and that was all
that mattered. She refused to face tomorrow until it came.
She opened her eyes and saw the smug expression on Jack's face. She gave him a teasing grin and ran her hands along his
waist, laughing when she saw his eyes glaze over. She laid back and pulled him on top of her, eager to have him inside of
her once more.
They exhausted themselves throughout the night. She had buried her face in his chest and as he slowly stroked her hair,
unaware of the fact that she would be gone in a few short hours. They eventually fell asleep holding each other close.
A small tear fell from Irina's eye and she quickly brushed it away, refusing to let any weakness show. She took a stadying
breath and closed her eyes. She locked the memories inside and opened her eyes. She sat up, a sad smile on her face. She would
somehow prove that she had not lied when she came to the CIA.
