Rochet Super Special bicycle. Full Reynolds 531 butted frame. Serial number 33137. Seat tube measures about 54 cm c-t. Decals faded but otherwise in good condition. Original green paint badly faded on the top, but still visable on the bottoms of the tubes.

  • Mafac brakes and levers with a NOS set of matching green hoods.
  • Simplex rear derailleur looks like a Juy Export 61 except the pivot bolt caps look different from the only drawings I've seen of that derailleur.
  • Simplex down-tube shifter for rear derailleur with slightly damaged rubber cover.
  • Simplex rod-operated front derailer with built on Simplex alloy chainguard.
  • Aduprat Universel steel cottered crankset with Stronglight chainrings.
  • 5-speed freewheel.
  • Chain, probably original.
  • Steel Lyotard/Rochet pedals with matching green straps, but no clips.
  • Simplex hubs with Simplex quick releases. Rubber cover on rear quick release is somewhat deteriated.
  • Mavic "Criterium" 700c rims in excellent condition, true and round, no dents.
  • Old, Michelin 28-622 tires.
  • Original Pyrma Saddle saddle OR a Bim 39 Saddle.
  • Alloy handlebars, Pivo stem with matching green plastic tape.
  • Jos generator. Wiring braze-ons under down tube. Wiring runs through fenders,
  • Soubitez headlight, Luxor taillight.
  • Original hammered finish fenders in excellent condition with matching trim.
  • Original color-coordinated front and rear racks. The chrome tops of the racks is in poor condition, but the rest of the chrome will probably clean up easily.
  • Small leather tool bag.
