Our response, "We, too, have been frustrated with the overpriced promises made by so many of these other companies, but since you're here why don't you at least look at DAVID, our non-linear editing system." After the demonstration he asked if he could buy the company!
While working with professional editors who use D1, D2 and Betacam SP, they told us that "they can spot a project done on the other guy's $150,000 system a mile away." Then in a blind comparison test, we recorded the output from a Betacam SP master onto our DAVID system and their D2 deck. When we played them both back simultaneously, they thought our output was the original and the D2 was the copy!
