piece in The Onion. Personally, I never post anything my mother would disapprove of... on
this site, anyway.
Interesting to think about, though. Those of you with blogs/websites, how much do you "sanitize" your content considering
your anticipated viewers?

Man, I did NOT feel like raking leaves this year... nor, come to think of it, ANY year since I've been big enough to
hold a rake. There's something unnatural about the raking motion that stresses the proverbial muscles you never knew you had
to the limit, while depositing leaf bits in your shoes.
So this year, rather than taking a day off of work to blow them into the neighbor's yard when he isn't looking, as
is my usual practice, ("Gee, tough break, that wind today, eh Bob?") I hatched a new plan.
The magic word is MULCH, my friends! This is why we all bought mulching mowers, right? And I'm here to tell you,
it IS like magic!
Jaw set, teeth clenched, I plowed through piles of leaves even I didn't think I'd see the other side of (okay, sometimes
I had to go over them 2 or 3 times) and they...just...disappeared!
But the BEST part is that at the end of the day, I can feel self-righteous about my sloth. "No sir, we'll not be
clogging a landfill with OUR vegetative waste!" Just call me Mr. Earth Friendly. And, who knows, it might even be good for
the lawn to boot! (check back next Spring) I tell you, it's all good.
Now if I can just figure out a way to mulch the snow...

Man! What was I drinking last ni... MONTH!? Well, rest assured, I haven't forgotten my responsibilities as a... dare
I say... “blogger”?? Steps have been taken. Staff members have been dismissed. Soul-searching has been contemplated. Not to
say that I won't be equally remiss in the future, but hang in there. The best is yet to come (which, come to think of
it, shouldn't be a big deal...).
