Inverter Install

HOME PICTURES ANYONE? MORE PICTURES FAMILY PICTURES Blank Page		INVERTER INSTALL This is the Xantrex 3012 3000w Inverter charger. The mount was made of square tubing and some strap material. The wall just to the rear of the inverter is where I installed the second ac pannel and sperated the circuit breakers.  Air conditioning breakes will not draw from the inverter and must have the gen set runing or shore power to operate. I also installed battery cut out switch and dc fuse to protect batteries. Four batteries and assorted wiring mounted on the saddle. How well does the systyem work?   Quite good.....The inverter is controlled by a remote pannel mounted above the stock Raptor control pannel.  It quickly charges the batteries either with shore power or the gen set.   It will run the TV sets and lighting for long periods of time and will auto start the gen set when the batteries get low, and shut if off when full charge is reached. The stock Raptor control pannel along with the remote pannel for the inverter. Two ac pannels are required , the black one is for items that will not run throught the inverter, such as the air conditioners and the electric element for the water heater, the brown one is for everything else and also contains the 12 v fuses.
