The accident.......On November 06, 2008 while rideing a favorite road with six other friends I had a single vehicle accident
with my 08 1098s Ducati. I have been told that as I approached a slight angle turn to the left at about 70 mph my bike
left the road. I have no memory of the accident, the helecoptor flight, or the first 15 days in the hospital. I have
some memory of the doctor putting the cast on my leg, a very bad dream of them installing the chest tube and lots of
dreams of people that seem real to this day.
The damages......Severe cuncussion, broken colar bone{repaired with metal bar} two bones in left sholder fractured, I
broke every rib on my left side but two, most of them broken in more than one place, collapsed left lung, damage
to spleen, chrushed littie finger on left hand {required two sugeries}and fractures in left leg, left ankle, and left foot.
There is probably more but that is all I can think of now.
Some personal history............I am a native Califorian and grew up in Downey California in the 50's and
60's. What a different workd it was! Our first TV was in a big blond wood cabinet with a screen not much bigger that a
human head. I can remember my Dad driving a " Model A" Ford and a couple of 49 Ford sedans. We had a "party line" with the
phone......[My grandkids thought that a party line was what you called when you wanted to party.]
I went to Warren High and for a time Cerritos College. I was in the Navy Reserve also.

Just one of the things I like to do!

1,000 yard stare!
My 50 BMG target rifle at the Workd Champioship Match in July
of 2005 at Ratone, New Mexico. 1,000 yard competition is great fun with great people. Lots of science involved in making the
amo and hitting a target 10 football fields away!
