There are 2 versions of this system:

"2 board system" |
|
|
This system has 2 P.C. boards located in the score table. It uses three keyboards, a alphanumeric board in the center (for entering names) and a seperate
keyboard for each lane for entering & correcting scores. The boards p/n are:
218-001-501 Video board
218-001-502 MPU Board.
The power supply for this unit has 2 plug in P.C. boards on it.
p/n 218-001-525 (Power supply)218-001-556 (Regulator)
& 218-001-557 (Diode).
This system uses a "MCC" front desk unit. |

"Single board version" |
|
|
|
This system uses a single P.C. board that has both MPU & Video functions on the same board. It uses three keyboards as described above. The board p/n is :
218-002-450 or 218-002-810. The software on these boards can be upgraded in some instances to add features (call for details). This system uses the same power supply as described above.
This system can be configured to work with EITHER a M.C.C.
front desk unit or a B.C.C. system. |

This system uses a single P.C. board as described above, however, the memory backup battery is built onto the board. p/n 218-002-860
It uses a single keypad
for names & score correction. It uses a smaller power supply that has a single circuit board. p/n 218-002-870.
The software on this board is upgradable to add additional features (call for details).
This system must be used with a B.C.C. or later
front desk unit. It will not work properly with a M.C.C. |

Single "curtain wall chassis", gold color, opens from the front. There are 4 to seven individual PC boards that are installed (depending on the options). Single
power supply "module" with a red L.E.D. indicating power. |

Single "curtain wall chassis", gold color, with an "EPROM module" that plugs into the chassis from the front. P/N's can be:
232-7150, 232-7350, or 232-7500.
NOTE: "mixing" various types of CWC's can result in erratic behavior (communications problems). It is ALWAYS best to have the same type of chassis in "line". 7500 series seem to cause the most problems with non-7500 chassis. According to AMF
technical dept., if you have to mix them, the FIRST in the line should be a 7500 "Red", followed by a 7500 "Black", then a 7150, and end with a 7350. (note: "red" & "black" refer to the color on the chassis cover. |
