Shipping Guidelines
AIR (Fastest) Ground (Lowest cost)
When shipping PC Boards, place them in anti-static bags prior to shipping.

Put a note describing the problem(s) that you are having with EACH board or assembly. Attach to the board or assembly.

When shipping power supplies, video chassis, chassis, or other assemblies, place them in a plastic bag PRIOR to packing them in styrofoam "peanuts"

When shipping heavy items such as power supplies or chassis's, DO NOT pack more than 2 of these PER BOX. Provide adequate packing between units to avoid damage during shipping.

Remove the top and bottom panels from chassis's to cut down on the weight.

Use a box designed for the job. Heavy walled boxes should be used for chassis's and power supplies..

When shipping a video chassis, remove the H.V. rectifier from it's socket and pack separately. These are fragile and break very easily during shipping. They are also hard to find and EXPENSIVE!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Insurance claims are often denied due to improper packaging & boxes. When shipping HEAVY packages, PLEASE use a TRIPLE walled cardboard box!! This will GREATLY improve the chances of the item(s) making it to us INTACT (and insurance claims being ACCEPTED).
The way you pack a repair/exchange board or assembly can GREATLY affect the cost of the repair!!
