         Margery Washburn probably had 6 children before she died, and her husband had 2 more children by his second wife. Although we do not have the actual date when Margery died, nor do we have the birth dates of their children, we have the date of Josiah Leonard’s second marriage, and we can calculate the approximate birth years of the children from the dates of their marriages or ages at death. The grandchildren of Margery Washburn are not well traced at this point, especially those of daughter Margery Leonard. The children of daughter Elizabeth Leonard are listed under those of her husband, and the children of son Josiah Leonard (Jr.) are listed under those of his wife, since they both married back into the Washburn family. Because Margery is a daughter her descendants will not be carried forward further than this file, other than those who married back into the Washburn family.

(204.) John4 Leonard, eldest son of (69) Margery3 Washburn, (45) Philip2, (28) John1 (4th); born ca. 1700, married Naomi Curtis on 23 Nov. 1732 in West Bridgewater.[1] On 17 Oct. 1728 John Leonard sold the land in Bridgewater that had been given to him by his father, Josiah Leonard, to his brother‑in‑law, James Washburn, Jr.[2]

         John and Naomi Leonard moved to Sutton, Worcester Co., MA, by 1741, then to Douglas, Worcester Co., MA, in 1747. He was not a head of household in Douglas or Sutton, MA, in the 1790 federal census, and had probably died by them.

         John Leonard and Naomi Curtis had children:[3]

         809      i   Seth Leonard, baptized on 26 Aug. 1733 in West Bridgewater,[4] marriage not found. He was not a head of household in Worcester Co., MA, in the 1790 federal census, and no probate records were found for him in Worcester County.

         810     ii   Orphah5 Leonard, baptized on 16 Feb. 1734/5 in West Bridgewater,[5] probably married Samuel Hull, of “Nova Cota” in 1758.[6] Children not found. He was not listed as a head of household in Worcester Co., MA, in the 1790 federal census, and no probate records were found for Samuel Hull in Worcester County.

         811     iii   (Possibly) Abia5 Leonard, baptized in Sept. 1739 in Sutton, MA,[7] married Nathaniel Brown on 12 Mar. 1757 in Douglas, MA.[8] Children not found.

         812    iv   Priscilla5 Leonard, baptized on 6 Sept. 1742 in Sutton, MA,[9] supposedly married Amos Cutler, son of Zachariah and Hannah (Barrett) Cutler,[10] on 8 Oct. 1760 in Douglas, MA,[11] but she supposedly died on 18 July 1762,[12] and he remarried to Lucy Greene, daughter of Amos and Lydia (Johnston) Greene, of Thompson, Windham Co., CT, on 8 June 1765.[13] Amos Cutler was born on 6 May 1741 in Thompson, CT, and died on 14 Dec. 1819 in Petersburgh, Rensselaer Co., NY.[14] Priscilla (Leonard) Cutler supposedly had one son:

         814    vi   Lois5 Leonard, baptized on 23 June 1752 in Douglas, MA,[17] married Elijah Kingsbury, son of Theodore and Mary (Town) Kingsbury, of Oxford,[18] Worcester Co., MA, in 1768.[19] He was born on 31 May 1747 in Oxford, MA.[20] He was living in Oxford, MA, in the 1790 federal census,[21] but no probate records were found for Elijah Kingsbury in Worcester County. They had children:

a. Leonard Kingsbury, born on 4 May 1769 in Oxford, MA,[22] baptized on 6 Oct. 1771 in Oxford.[23]

b. Elias Kingsbury, born on 30 Sept. 1770 in Oxford,[24] probably married Lavinia Phillips, of Gloucester, in 1791.[25]

c. Israel Kingsbury, born on 29 July 1772 in Oxford.[26]

d. Elijah Kingsbury (Jr.), born on 6 Aug. 1775 in Oxford.[27]

Mary4 Leonard, second daughter of (69) Margery3 Washburn, (45) Philip2, (28) John1 (4th); born in ca. 1705,[32] married Daniel Harrington (3rd), of Marlborough, MA, son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Warren) Harrington (Jr.), of Watertown, MA,[33] on 10 Jan. 1732/3 in Bridgewater.[34] He was born on 5 Oct. 1707 in Marlborough,[35] a grandson of Daniel and Sarah (Whitney) Harrington,[36] and of Capt. John and Michal (Jennison) (Bloys) Warren (Jr.), of Watertown.[37] Elizabeth (Warren) Harrington died in Marlborough on 3 Mar. 1774 at the very advanced age of 100 years, 7 months, 13 days.[38]

         He was probably the Daniel Harrington living in Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA, in the 1790 federal census, next door to John Harrington.[39] Mary (Leonard) Harrington died on 9 June 1793 in Marlborough, MA, aged 88 years,[40] and Daniel Harrington (3rd) died on 31 Aug. 1795 in Marlborough, aged 88 years.[41]

         Mary Leonard and Daniel Harrington (3rd) had children:

         815      i   Daniel Harrington (4th), born on 16 Jan. 1733/4 in Marlborough, MA,[42] died on 14 Feb. 1758 at Ford Edward,[43] NY, during the French & Indian War.

         816     ii   Mary Harrington, born on 7 Aug. 1735 in Marlborough,[44] never married, died on 30 June 1802 in Marlborough, aged 67 years.[45]

         817    iii   Elizabeth Harrington, born on 20 Mar. 1736/7 in Marlborough,[46] married Winslow Brigham, son of Jedidiah and Bethiah (How) Brigham, of Marlborough, MA,[47] on 29 June 1760 in Marlborough,[48] and they settled in Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA. He was born on 30 Aug. 1736 in Marlborough, MA,[49] a grandson of Samuel and Elizabeth (How) Brigham, of Marlborough.[50] He was living in Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA, in the 1790 federal census,[51] and he died on 29 Aug. 1791 in Marlborough, aged 54 years.[52] She died a widow on 25 Oct. 1815 in Marlborough, aged 78 years.[53] They had children:

a. Capt. Daniel Brigham, born on 25 Dec. 1760 in Marlborough, MA,[54] supposedly married Thankful Brigham, daughter of George and Mary (Bragg) Brigham.[55] She was born on 7 May 1765 in Marlborough.[56] He died on 11 Oct. 1818 in Marlborough, MA, aged 58 years,[57] and she died a widow on 14 Dec. 1824 in Marlborough, aged 59 years.[58]

b. Capt. Aaron Brigham, born on 22 Nov. 1762 in Marlborough,[59] married Betty Rice Barns, daughter of Edward and Submit (Furbush) Barns, of Marlborough,[60] on 28 Sept. 1785 in Marlborough.[61] She was born on 2 Apr. 1766 in Marlborough.[62] He died on 23 Mar. 1831 in Marlborough, aged 68 years.[63]

c. Jedidiah Brigham, born on 5 Jan. 1765 in Marlborough,[64] died on 3 Sept. 1766 in Marlborough, aged 20 months.[65]

d. Jedidiah Brigham, born on 15 Sept. 1766 in Marlborough,[66] married Lydia Boyd, daughter of William and Lydia (Morse) Boyd, of Marlborough,[67] on 17 Aug. 1791 in Marlborough.[68] She was born on 18 June 1770 in Marlborough,[69] and died on 29 Apr. 1824 in Marlborough, aged 53 years, 10 months.[70] He died on 22 Apr. 1846 in Marlborough, aged 79 years, 7 months, 7 days, of old age.[71]

e. Elizabeth Brigham, born on 5 Mar. 1769 in Marlborough,[72] married Deacon William Barns, son of Solomon and Judith (Hapgood) Barns, of Marlborough,[73] on 16 Sept. 1788 in Marlborough.[74] He was born on 3 Sept. 1766 in Marlborough,[75] and died on 7 Mar. 1823 in Marlborough, aged 56 years.[76] She died on 28 Nov. 1830 in Marlborough, aged 62 years.[77]

f. Amariah Brigham, born on 30 May 1771 in Marlborough,[78] supposedly died in Feb. 1798.[79]

g. John Winslow Brigham, born on 10 Jan. 1774 in Marlborough,[80] married Hannah Lewis, daughter of Winslow and Mary (Knowles) Lewis,[81] on 10 Nov. 1793 in Marlborough.[82] He supposedly died in Aug. 1826 in Norfolk, VA.[83]

h. Artemas Brigham, born on 13 May 1776 in Marlborough,[84] married Lydia Brigham, probably daughter of William and Lydia (Chamberlain) Brigham,[85] on 31 Mar. 1799 in Marlborough.[86] She was born on 29 Dec. 1776 in Marlborough.[87] He supposedly died on 3 July 1862.[88]

i. Lucy Brigham, born on 28 June 1779 in Marlborough,[89] married Eli Rice, son of Peter and Levina (How) Rice, of Marlborough,[90] on 29 Oct. 1799 in Marlborough.[91] He was born on 8 Oct. 1777 in Marlborough.[92] She supposedly died on 23 Nov. 1850, and he supposedly died on 4 May 1851.[93]

j. Lydia Brigham, born on 7 Jan. 1782 in Marlborough,[94] died on 9 Aug. 1785 in Marlborough, aged 3 years, 7 months.[95]

         818    iv   Sarah Harrington, born on 16 May 1739 in Marlborough,[96] married Abner How, son of Abraham and Rachel (Rice) How, of Marlborough,[97] on 21 Oct. 1762 in Marlborough,[98] and they moved to Princeton, Worcester Co., MA. He was born on 1 Nov. 1735 in Marlborough.[99] They were living in Princeton, MA, in the 1790 federal census.[100] He died on 10 Apr. 1818 in Princeton, aged 82 years,[101] but no probate records were found for him, and she died on 27 Jan. 1818 in Princeton, aged 78 years.[102] They had children:

a. Sarah Howe, born on 16 Aug. 1763 in Princeton, MA,[103] never married, died on 21 Aug. 1827 in Princeton, aged 64 years.[104]

b. Anna Howe, born on 13 Jan. 1765 in Princeton,[105] died on 8 Oct. 1778 in Princeton, aged 13 years.[106]

c. Betty/Betsey Howe, born on 5 May 1766 in Princeton,[107] married Isaac Bryant, son of John and Esther (Stone) Bryant, of Rutland, Worcester Co., MA,[108] on 1 May 1788 in Princeton.[109] He was born on 6 Jan. 1762 in Rutland, MA,[110] served in the Revolutionary War, and received a pension for his service. He died on 4 June 1836 in Rutland, MA, aged 74 years.[111] She died a widow on 2 Jan. 1845 in Rutland, aged 78 years, 7 months, 27 days, of old age.[112]

d. Parmilla/Parmelia/Pamela/Pamelia Howe, born on 27 Mar. 1768 in Princeton,[113] married William Everett in ca. 1791.[114] She died on 14 Apr. 1818 in Princeton, aged 49 years,[115] and he remarried to Lucy Richardson, a widow, probably of Samuel Richardson,[116] in 1818.[117]

e. Samuel Howe, born on 21 Aug. 1769 in Princeton,[118] died on 15 Nov. 1808 in Princeton, aged 39 years,[119] possibly unmarried.

f. Abner Howe (Jr.), born on 7 July 1772 in Princeton,[120] married Jerusha Mirick, daughter of Ephraim and Deborah (Gleason) Mirick, of Princeton,[121] in 1802.[122] She was born on 30 Dec. 1776 in Princeton.[123] He died on 15 July 1822 at “Charleston Hospital,” aged 50 years,[124] and Jerusha died on 19 Feb., but the year is not stated.[125]

g. Jonah Howe, born on 15 July 1774 in Princeton,[126] supposedly married Mary Pritchard.[127] He supposedly died on 3 July 1853.[128]

h. Louise/Lois Howe, born on 8 Dec. 1776 in Princeton,[129] supposedly married Ebenezer Goodnow, son of Edward and Lois (Rice) Goodnow,[130] of Princeton, on 3 July 1806 in Princeton.[131] He was born on 4 June 1778 in Princeton.[132]

i. Lt. Artemas Howe, born on 19 Mar. 1779 in Princeton,[133] married Lucinda Brooks, daughter of David and Patience (White) Brooks,[134] of Princeton, on 5 Jan. 1808 in Princeton.[135] She was born on 27 Nov. 1786 in Princeton.[136] He died on 5 Mar. 1819 in Princeton, aged almost 40.[137]

         819     v   Margaret “Margery” Harrington, born on 18 May 1741 in Marlborough,[138] supposedly married Ephraim Breed, possibly as his third wife, in 1794 in Charlestown, MA.[139] She evidently had no children.

         820    vi   John Harrington, born on 25 Nov. 1743 in Marlborough,[140] married Lydia Mixer, daughter of John and Mary (Lyscom) Mixer, of Framingham,[141] Middlesex Co., MA, on 7 Apr. 1768 in Marlborough.[142] She was born on 7 Nov. 1741 in Framingham,[143] a granddaughter of Daniel and Judith Mixer, of Framingham.[144] He may have been the John Harrington living in Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA, in the 1790 federal census, next door to Daniel Harrington.[145] She died on 22 May 1820 in Marlborough, aged 78 years,[146] and he died on 13 Mar. 1824 in Marlborough, aged 79 years.[147] They had children:

a. Daniel Harrington, born on 21 Nov. 1768 in Marlborough,[148] supposedly married Betsy Combs in 1795 in Gill, Hampshire (now Franklin) Co., MA.[149]

b. Lydia Harrington, born on 7 Sept. 1770 in Marlborough,[150] supposedly married Andrew Jackson on 14 Aug. 1791 in Hubbardston, Worcester Co., MA.[151]

c. Lucy Harrington, born on 28 Dec. 1772 in Marlborough,[152] married Aaron Collins[153] on 26 Sept. 1793 in Southborough, MA.[154] He was born ca. 1771,[155] and died on 23 Oct. 1832 in Southborough, aged 61 years.[156] She died on 22 Jan. 1831 in Southborough, aged 58 years.[157]

d. Levina/Lovina Harrington, born on 14 Jan. 1775 in Marlborough,[158] married Edmond Fay, son of Nathan and Lucy (Beamis) Fay, of Southborough, MA,[159] on 18 Jan. 1801 in Marlborough.[160] He was born on 18 Sept. 1778 in Southborough,[161] and died on 21 Sept. 1827 in Southborough, aged 49 years.[162] She died on 7 Dec. 1816 in Southborough, aged 41 years.[163]

e. Elizabeth “Betsy” Harrington, born on 3 June 1777 in Marlborough,[164] supposedly married James Bruce, of Woburn, MA, on 15 June 1797 in Lexington, MA.[165]

Phebe Harrington, born on 18 Aug. 1779 in Marlborough,[166] married Josiah How (Jr.), son of Josiah and Molly (Adams) How, of Marlborough,[167] on 12 Jan. 1803 in Marlborough.[168] He was born on 27 Mar. 1783 in Marlborough.[169] She died on 1 Mar. 1810 in Oakham, Worcester Co., MA,[170] and he remarried to Arethusa Read, daughter of Silas and Eleanor (Hunter) Read, of Oakham, MA,[171] in 1810.[172] She died on 5 Nov. 1842, and he remarried again to Mary Davis on 7 Feb. ca. 1843.[173] He supposedly died on 11 Jan. 1864 in Orange, Grafton Co., NH.[174]

g. John Harrington (Jr.), born on 26 Sept. 1782 in Marlborough,[175] married Prudence Hale.[176]

h. William Harrington, born on 20 June 1784 in Marlborough,[177] supposedly married Hannah Fisher.[178] He died on 26 Apr. 1838 in Marlborough, aged 54 years.[179]

         821    vii   Samuel Harrington, born on 1 Dec. 1745 in Marlborough,[180] died on 12 Apr. 1800 in Marlborough, aged 54 years,[181] possibly unmarried.

         822  viii   Jonah Harrington, born on 17 June 1748 in Marlborough,[182] married Damaris Warren, daughter of David and Eunice (How) Warren, of Marlborough,[183] on 24 Aug. 1769 in Marlborough.[184] She was born on 26 June 1750 in Marlborough,[185] and they moved to Marlborough, Cheshire Co., NH. They supposedly had children:

a. Jonah Harrington (Jr.), born on 27 Apr. 1771 in Marlborough, NH.[186]

b. Darius Harrington, born on 31 Aug. 1772 in Marlborough, NH.[187]

Margery4 Leonard, third daughter of (69) Margery3 Washburn, (45) Philip2, (28) John1 (4th); born say 1707, married Nathaniel Pratt on 17 June 1729 in Hopkinton, Middlesex Co., MA.[193] They lived in Framingham, Middlesex Co., MA, but no death record was found for either of them in Framingham.

         Margery Leonard and Nathaniel Pratt had at least 2 children:

         823      i   Abigail Pratt, born on 21 May 1731 in Framingham, MA,[194] marriage not found.

         824     ii   Daniel Pratt, born on 5 Nov. 1733 in Framingham,[195] died on 31 Oct. 1740 in Framingham.[196]

Ezekiel4 Leonard, youngest son of (69) Margery3 Washburn, (45) Philip2, (28) John1 (4th); born in ca. 1712,[197] possibly married Joanna Hudson, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Orcutt) Hudson,[198] on 29 May 1732 in Southborough, Worcester Co., MA,[199] and they settled in Southborough, MA. She was a granddaughter of William and Martha Orcutt.[200]

         Ezekiel Leonard died intestate on 30 Oct. 1757 in Southborough, MA.[201] Joanna (Hudson) Leonard may have been the Joanna Leonard still living in Southborough, MA, in the 1790 federal census, next door to the family of Samuel Hudson, Jr.[202] No death record was found for her in Southborough.

         Ezekiel Leonard and Joanna Hudson had children:

         825      i   Ezekiel Leonard (Jr.), born on 20 Dec. 1732,[203] died on 20 Feb. 1732/3 in Southborough, MA.[204]

         826     ii   Ezekiel Leonard (Jr.), born on 21 Mar. 1733/4,[205] died on 18 Nov. 1734 in Southborough.[206]

         827    iii   Joanna5 Leonard, born on 13 Nov. 1735 in Southborough,[207] married James Bellows  (Jr.), son of James and Thankfull (Willis) Bellows,[208] of Southborough, as his second wife, on 11 Dec. 1758 in Southborough.[209] He was born on 26 Aug. 1729 in Southborough,[210] baptized on 30 Nov. 1729 in Marlborough,[211] and had married first to Elisabeth Campbell on 18 Jan. 1754 in Southborough.[212] They were probably still living in Southborough, MA, in the 1790 federal census.[213] He died on 6 Nov. 1810 in Southborough, aged 81 years,[214] and she died a widow on 16 Jan. 1812 in Southborough, aged 76 years.[215] Joanna (Leonard) Bellows had children:

Elizabeth Bellows, born on 28 Feb. 1763 in Southborough,[216] married Lot Rice “Jr.”, of East Sudbury, MA, supposedly son of Edmund and Margaret (Smith) Rice, of Sudbury,[217] on 15 May 1788 in Westborough, MA.[218] He was born on 11 May 1762 in Sudbury, MA,[219] and supposedly died on 27 Mar. 1848.[220]

b. Josiah Bellows, born on 20 July 1766 in Southborough.[221]

         828    iv   Susanna5 Leonard, born on 1 Feb. 1737/8 in Southborough,[223] never married, died on 30 Dec. 1812 in Southborough, aged 75 years.[224]

         829     v   Daniel Leonard, born on 2 Apr. 1740 in Southborough.[225] A guardian was appointed for him in 1759,[226] marriage not found.

         830    vi   Josiah Leonard, born on 26 Feb. 1742/3 in Southborough,[227] marriage not found.

         831   vii   Sarah5 Leonard, born on 16 Jan. 1745 in Southborough,[228] possibly the Sarah Leonard who married William Elexanders/Alexander in 1770.[229] He may have been William Alexander, the son of William and Elizabeth (Bradley) Alexander,[230] who was born on 1 Nov. 1749 in Lunenburg, MA.[231] They were probably living in Upton, Worcester Co., MA, in the 1790,[232] and 1800 federal censuses.[233] William Alexander died on 19 Feb. 1817 in Upton, MA,[234] and the “widow Elexander” died on 29 Aug. 1827 in Upton.[235] William and Sarah Alexander supposedly had children:[236]

a. Daniel Alexander, born in 1773 in Upton, married Hannah Nelson, possibly daughter of Francis and Hannah (Tyler) Nelson,[237] on 28 Feb. 1796 in Upton, MA.[238] She was born on 18 Mar. 1770 in Upton.[239] He supposedly died in 1851.[240]

b. William Alexander (Jr.), born in 1774 in Upton, married Anna Campbell on 9 Oct. 1804 in Worcester, MA.[241] He supposedly died in 1850.[242]

c. Joseph Alexander, born ca. 1776,[243] married probably 1.) Beulah Albee, of Bellingham, MA, in 1797,[244] who died on 19 Jan. 1820 in Warren, MA, aged 43 years,[245] and 2.) Susanna (___), who died on 16 Feb. 1849 in Warren, aged 76 years,[246] and 3.) Mrs. Eleanor Twichell on 12 Sept. 1849 in Brookfield, MA.[247]

d. Ezekiel Alexander, born supposedly on 15 Aug. 1780 in Upton,[248] married Thirza Wheelock, of Mendon, MA, daughter of Calvin and Mercy (White) Wheelock,[249] on 18 Apr. 1803 in Mendon.[250] She was born on 7 May 1780 in Mendon.[251] He died on 15 Aug. 1840 in Upton, MA, aged 60 years,[252] and she died a widow on 15 Nov. 1840 in Upton, aged 60 years.[253]

e. Leonard Alexander, born in 1782 in Upton, married Sarah Rhodes, of Upton, on 29 Apr. 1807 in Uxbridge, MA.[254]  He supposedly died on 30 Sept. 1868.[255]

         832  viii   John5 Leonard, born on 23 Dec. 1746 in Southborough,[256] married Ruth Bigelow, daughter of Cornelius and Mary (Graves) Bigelow, of Westborough, MA,[257] on 28 Apr. 1768 in Westborough.[258] She was born on 16 Dec. 1744 in Westborough.[259] They lived in Southborough, Worcester Co., and Framingham, Middlesex Co., MA, and they were living in Westborough, Worcester Co., MA, in the 1790 federal census.[260] He was not a head of household in Worcester Co., MA, in the 1800 or 1810 federal censuses. He may have been the John Leonard living in Brookline, Windham Co., VT, in the 1800[261] and 1810 federal censuses,[262] but the age groupings of the children do not match those of John and Ruth Leonard. He supposedly died on 18 Oct. 1821 in Grafton, Windham Co., VT,[263] but he was not a head of household in Windham Co., VT, in the 1820 federal census. They had children:

a. Ruth6 Leonard, born on 11 Nov. 1768 in Southborough,[264] married Kerley Morse, of Westborough, on 30 Sept. 1787 in Southborough.[265] He was not listed as a head of household in Massachusetts in the 1790 federal census, and he was not found in Vermont in the 1791 or 1800 federal census.

b. Mary6 “Polly” Leonard, born on 8 Mar. 1771 in Southborough,[266] married Oliver Gilson on 20 June 1797 in Putney, Windham Co., VT.[267] He was not a head of household in Vermont in the 1800 federal census, but they were living in Grafton, Windham Co., VT, in the 1810,[268] and 1830 federal censuses.[269] She was probably the Mary Gilson living with the family of Marshall and Ann Spring in Grafton, VT, in the 1850 federal census,[270] and she died on 20 Aug. 1853 in Grafton, Windham Co., VT.[271]

c. Sarah Leonard, born on 12 Apr. 1773 in Southborough,[272] marriage not found.

d. Eunice Leonard, born on 4 June 1775 in Southborough,[273] marriage not found.

e. John6 Leonard (Jr.), born on 8 Apr. 1778 in Southborough,[274] married Elizabeth Lougee on 11 Mar. 1811.[275] He supposedly died on 5 July 1860,[276] but they were not found in Vermont in the 1850 federal census.

f. Betty Leonard, born on 11 Jan. 1780 in Framingham, MA.[277]

g. Hannah Leonard, born on 7 July 1783 in Framingham.[278]

h. Job Leonard, born on 16 Oct. 1785 in Framingham.[279]

j. Josiah6 Leonard, born on 13 Apr. 1787 in Southborough,[280] also married and lived in Vermont, but he was not found in Vermont in the 1850 federal census. He may have been the Josiah Leonard living in Brookline, Windham Co., VT, in the 1820 federal census,[281] but he was not found in Windham Co., VT, in the 1830 federal census, and he was not found in Vermont in the 1850 federal census.

         833    ix   Solomon5 Leonard, born on 2 June 1749 in Southborough,[282] married Sarah (___) in ca. 1772.[283] They lived in Southborough, Worcester Co., MA, then possibly moved to Windsor, Berkshire Co., MA, then briefly to Plainfield, NH, before returning to Windsor, MA. Solomon Leonard was living in Plainfield, Cheshire Co., NH, in the 1790 federal census,[284] and in Windsor, Berkshire Co., MA, in the 1800 federal census,[285] but Solomon’s age in the 1800 federal census does not match that of the Solomon Leonard born in Southborough in 1749. Solomon and Sarah Leonard had children:

a. Prudence6 Leonard, born on 17 May 1773 in Southborough,[286] married William Alexander on 26 May 1795 in Southborough.[287] He was not a head of household in Worcester Co., MA, in the 1800 federal census, and he may have been the William Alexander living in Cheshire Co., NH, in the 1800 census.[288] They had at least one son:

1. Josiah Alexander, born on 25 May 1796 in Winchendon, MA.[289]

b. Lydia Leonard, born on 31 July 1775 in Southborough.[290]

c. Sally Leonard, born on 1 Feb. 1778 in Southborough.[291]

d. Joanna Leonard, born on 15 May 1781 in Southborough.[292]

e. Ezekiel Leonard, born on 11 Apr. 1784 in Southborough.[293]

Individual Record shows this same Ephraim Breed marrying secondly to Ann Larkin on 3 Dec. 1761 in Charlestown, and her dying in 1793 in Charlestown, so it may be that Margaret Harrington was his third wife.
