The Game

Humanities finest warriors "Doomptroopers" assault the most dangerous of foes.  An alien evil called the Dark Legion that only seems interested in destroying life.  In grueling suicide missions Doomtrooper Teams assault the very homes of the Dark Legion, the Citadels.  Even with this noble cause it is not enough for inter-Corporation rivalries to get in the way.  The Cartel demands corporation but it isn't always a pretty fit.  A little back stabbing can happen while each Doomtrooper Team battles for the day against the ominous Dark Legion.

A little Musings (skip this if you want to get to the game stuff)

Having dropped my sister off at the "Y" for swimming I burned some time in K-Mart back some time in the early '90s.  Among the board games it stuck out rather blatantly.  Seeing a zombie with an assault rifle and goggles really blew me away.  Dropping the $20 for it the only regret I had was not buying up piles of sets later when K&B toys years later was selling them off for $10 each.  By that time the novels had long been out and the Table Top Miniatures game Warzone was going strong.

By far and above this is my favorite board-game of all time.  Perhaps that's a bit obvious with this webpage.
