Goldie Livingston was born Aug. 6, 1909, to Frank and Elda (Emerson) Holloway of Peru. On April 3, 1930, she married A. Raymond Eldridge in Ankeny. Mr. Eldridge died in 1957. Later, on April 11, 1960, she married George Livingston in Des Moines. She was a longtime resident of Lorimor, moving to Winterset in the mid 1980s. Goldie was a retired Lorimor mail carrier and post office clerk. She also was a member of the Lorimor United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years, United Methodist Women, Iris Club and Canasta Club. She was preceded in death by both husbands; two brothers, Raymond and LeRoy; and a sister, Blanche. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lorimor United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset."
