Freda L. Davison, 88, Aledo, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at the Mercer County Hospital in Aledo. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in the Peniel Cemetery, rural Joy. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Mercer County Hospital Intensive Care Unit. The former Freda Beverlin was born Oct. 31, 1911, to Louis and Floy French Beverlin. She married David ``John'' Davison Feb. 5, 1932, in Monmouth. He died in 1988. They farmed in the Joy area until retiring and moving to Aledo in 1971. She enjoyed quilting. Survivors include a son, Darrell Davison, Aledo; a daughter, Juanita Edgcomb, Utica, Ill.; two granchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Grace Bridgford, and a brother, Keith Beverlin, both of Aledo; and several nieces and nephews.BURIAL: Peniel Cemetery
