Washington State Birth, Marriage, Divorce, Death/Probate Research
I am an experienced probate researcher residing in the Olympia/Thurston County Area. I can access statewide records and documents necessary for probate research. Rates are moderate and determined by the services requested.Send email inquiries to Roger Easton: WaResearcher@earthlink.net
Services offered:
Birth Records
- Statewide, birth records are available from the Washington State Department of Health from July 1907 to 1954. From 1955 to present, County Health Departments Hold these records. I have access to all.
Marriage Records
- Marriage records are available from January 1, 1968. Before that date they were held by the county auditors. Some are available through the Regional Archives.
Divorce Records
- Availability the Same as Marriage records.
Death Records
- State Death index available in the State Archives, and gives place of death, time.
Obituaries
- Obtained through the Washington State Library. Exact date of death required to expedite this search.
Wills
- These are held at the County Auditor's Offices However, copies (and sometimes originals!) may be found in the regional Archives
NOTE- The normal fee for documents obtained at the WSDH is $13. Additional fees are charged for next-working-day processing, or using a credit card. I am able to get next-day processing at the regular fee. Please include description of type of record you need and the corresponding dates and locations, and I can quote the charges for next working day search and mailing.
