Wetlands and Coastal Research is an independent research and consulting group that specializes in ecological and mapping services for terrestrial, aquatic and marine ecosystems.  WCR has operated in the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Europe and draws on the experience of its two founders who are  environmental scientists with over 30 years of experience each. Wetlands and Coastal Research can become involved in all stages of a project from design and feasibility through inventory mapping, implementation and monitoring.   We work at the watershed level, undertaking natural resource inventories and developing watershed management plans, as well as at a site-specific level.  Our clients have included federal and state agencies, non-profit organizations, engineers and planners.   Wetlands and Coastal Research has Geographical Information System (GIS) capability with ArcGIS.   We use Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) technology to increase survey location accuracy.
