Sing for Peace

Unitarian-Universalist Church,
at the head of Church Street
Burlington, Vermont

Sounding Joy! will participate with other
 regional choruses (Bella Voce, Maple Jam,
Counterpoint, Essex Children's Choir,
 Pumpkin Hill Singers and Syrinx) in a concert
 to benefit KIDS4PEACE-VERMONT
 an organization that brings together children
from Christian, Jewish, and Muslim traditions
 in a summer camp setting in an effort to foster
 greater understanding. 
  (Opportunity for a free will offering at the door.)

An English Holiday Celebration
Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 4 PM
Chandler Music Hall, Randolph, Vermont

Sounding Joy! will join the Randolph Singers
in a concert of festive carols and motets
 from England

Some Sneak Previews:

Still in the planning stage is a May day Rhapsody
on Saturday and Sunday, May 1 & 2, 2010, to feature
luscious choral works by Eric Whitacre and
Z. Randall Stroope, as well as original compositions
by Sounding Joy!'s own Marjorie Drysdale.

A joint concert with the St. Michael's College Chapel
choir is also being considered, featuring excerpts from
the Rheinberger mass in E-flat, scored antiphonally
for two choirs.
