March 29, 2009: Sounding Joy! and the Sounding Joy! Youth Chorus performed a Springtime Serenade of choral music by Brahms, which included folk songs, lieder, and a ravishing opus 17, a set of songs for women's voices, two French horns, and harp, at Bethany Church, Randolph, VT. 

 February 8 & 9, 2009:  Sounding Joy! celebrated the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln by performing
"Abraham Lincoln in Story and Song" at Bethany Church, Randolph, VT. The program included a script written by artistic director Marjorie Drysdale, which wove together Stephen Foster love songs, Yankee and Rebel war songs, American folk songs, Sacred Harp shape note hymns, and rousing spirituals.  With guest narrators Paul Kendall, Tom Harty and Dawn Butterfield, guest singer Dawn Butterfield, and guest orator/civil war historian Howard Coffin.

October 15, 2008: Sounding Joy Youth Chorus participated in a performance by the Boston-based folk group, "Sol y Canto" by singing five lively songs in Spanish at the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, VT.

September 27, 2008:    Sounding Joy! joined the choruses Bella Voce, Counterpoint, Maple Jam, Pumpkin Hill, Social Band, and Syrinx, in various choral renditions at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Burlington, VT.  The audience participated in "We Shall Overcome" and in "Dona Nobis Pacem."

May 18, 2008:    Sounding Joy! and the Sounding Joy! Youth Chorus presented al program of show tunes covering a century of American musical theater favorites, representing such legendary composers as Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Lerner & Loewe,  Rodgers and Hammerstein, Steven Sondheim and Andrew LLoyd Webber, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, Randolph, Vermont

March 16, 2008:  Sounding Joy! sang three selections from the Bach Magnificat, and five Renaissance motets (by Tallis, Boyd, Palestrina, Ingegneri, and Hassler). Two solos (by Chaplin and Franck) were sung by Sounding Joy! soprano Marge Crowe and Sounding Joy! tenor Jeff Mather, at the new Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Randolph, VT. 

February 3 & 10, 2008:  Sounding Joy! sang the Bach Magnificat with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra and the singing group "Northsong," at the Barre Opera House, Barre, VT and at the Chandler Music Hall, Randolph, VT.

November 18, 2007: The Sounding Joy! Youth Chorus sang a selection of folksongs, Thanksgiving songs, rounds, descants, and show tunes in conjunction with the Waitsfield Kids Kabaret as part of the Central Vermont Youth Symphonia at the Bethany Church in Montpelier, VT.

The Sounding Joy! youth chorus sang folk songs, Thanksgiving songs, rounds, descants, and show tunes at the Menig Extended Care Facility at the Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, VT

October 14, 2007, Sounding Joy! joined the Thetford Chamber Singers, the Colchester Community Chorus, the Feminine Tone Chorus, Bella Voce, and Northsong in the Gwyneth Walker Choral Festival.  The performance included such Walker favorites as "How can I Keep from Singing," "Now Let us Sing," "So Many Angels!," "Walk that Valley," "Never Sit Down," "Let Evening Come," "Mule Named Sal," "Long Ago Lady," "Crossing the Bar," "New Millennium Suite," and "Every Life Shall be a Song."  Also, Sounding Joy! sang its theme song, "Sounding Joy!," written by Justin Morgan and arranged by Walker. 

September 23, 2007, in a program called "Vermont Wonder Workers," at the Calvin Coolidge Homestead in Plymouth, Vermont, Sounding Joy! sang songs by Vermont composer Gwyneth Walker: "Mule Named Sal," "I Will be Earth," "Love is a Rain of Diamonds," "Crossing the Bar," and "O, Sinner Man," as well as the Sounding Joy! theme song ("Sounding Joy!" by Justin Morgan, as arranged by Walker. Songs by Vermont composer Robert de Cormier were:  "Let Me Fly," "Hear the Lambs a-Cryin'," and "Turn the World Around."  Other Vermont songs were "Keep Cool and Keep Coolidge," by Bruce Harper, "Long Ago Lady" by John Gailmore, (the latter arranged by Walker), and Sounding Joy! by Justin Morgan (also arranged by Walker).

May 6, 2007, in a joint program with the Randolph Singers, Sounding Joy! sang the following songs arranged by Robert de Cormier: "Let me Fly," "Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder," "Hear the Lambs A-Cryin," and "Turn the World Around." In the same program, the Sounding Joy! Youth Chorus sang four songs from the Fabulous Fifties:  "Splish-Splash," "Bye, Bye Love," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," and "Doo-Wah-Ditty," at the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, Vermont.

March 9, 2007, the Sounding Joy! Youth Chorus sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" at the Mini-Mud Season Talent Show for children at the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, Vermont.

January 7, 2007:  A Multicultural Twelfth-Night Celebration at Bethany Church, Randolph, VT, featuring "Gloria" (with Lynette Coombs on the organ), Poulenc;  "Navidad Nuestra" (with percussionists Barbara Smith and Scott Paulsen, and flautists Marvin and Carol Rogers), Ramirez;  "Guadalupe Magnificat" (with percussionists Barbara Smith and Scott Paulsen), McClure;  Sounding Joy! Youth Chorus performed Mexican, Spanish, and Venezuelan traditional songs and danced in the conga line for the Guadalupe Magnificat.

May 6 & 20, 2006: "Requiem," Mozart, and excerpts from "Marriage of Figaro," performed with the "Northsong" Chorus of Newport; orchestra. in-house soloists, and guest high school soprano Grace Chris. May 6 concert in Newport conducted by Anne Hamilton; May 20 at Bethany Church, Randolph, conducted by Marjorie Drysdale.

January 7 & 8, 2006: "Lord Nelson Mass," Haydn; "Dona Nobis Pacem" from Bach's b-minor Mass; and "Ave Maria," Josquin Des Pres; with guest conductor Dick Drysdale, bass soloist Gary Moreau, including in-house soloists and orchestra.  At Bethany Church, Randolph.
