Currently I am a research scientist (level II) at the
National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC)
in conjunction with the University of Colorado Cooperative Institute
for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES). One of
my duties is interim team leader for the SSM/I passive microwave polar
stereographic sea ice products.
My previous position was as an assistant professor at the U.S. Naval Academy in the Oceanography Department,
where I taught upper-level undergraduate classes in Polar
Oceanography/Meteorology and Environmental Remote Sensing.
My research is related to research being conducted at the NOAA/NCEP Sea
Ice
Group in the Ocean Modeling Branch of the Environmental Modeling
Center,
NASA Goddard's Oceans
and Ice Branch, and the Navy, FNMOC.
