Contents of the compilation of
British Statutes in Force in the State of Florida
Compiled by Leslie A. Thompson, 1853

The compilation of English Statutes in force in the State of Florida comprises seven hundred fifty one (751) loose pages, giving the text of the acts with his comments and notations, for which the table of contents is below. A shortened version was published in Volume III to the Florida Statutes, 1941, editted by Guy W. Botts of Jacksonville. Mr. Botts saw fit to conclude various acts were no longer in force in the State of Florida, and left these out of his compilation.

The original hand-written compilation employed the Anglo-Saxon elongated s, which resembles an "f." These have been typed as a regular s until such time I find an HTML special character to use instead. Some of the characters, and some whole words, were illegible or uncertain to me, so I placed question marks at that spot.
