Networking: Building Relationships

Our lives can be much smoother and less stressful when we live them as one complete whole, rather than working so hard to compartmentalize, trying to keep one aspect from touching the other.

It is good to leave work at the office, so you don’t spoil a family evening worrying about that project on your desk; don’t let your mind wander to domestic duties during a sales meeting. But remember that you are one whole person, and what happens at work affects your personal life and what happens in your personal life affects how you work.

Belonging to networking groups and business associations, such as BPW, let’s you build relationships with people who can mentor and inspire you, and become a positive influence on your life…business and personal. Business associates may become friends; friends may be clients.

Please invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers, to our Annual Conference. Dates: May 18 & 19. Location: Best Western Executive Inn, Seattle.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
