We are challenging Firefighters vs Law Enforcement in a
drag race to benefit the WA State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
These First Responders know all too well that the DV incidents
are volatile and have a high potential for injury. We know that DV affects everyone; women, children, men, the elderly and
the handicapped. We also recognize the impact DV is having on the work place in lost productivity, reduced hours and increased
stress.
Drivers will be using their own, Car, Truck or Motorcycle.
Heat races will determine time brackets for the main races.
Drag racing is
more than speed; it will test skill, strategy and reaction time.
There is a limited number of driver slots available so we
encourage drivers to sign up today. Posters are available and sent to all Fire Departments and Law Enforcement Agencies.
Join us Friday night April 25th 2008, when we will
be hosting this exciting event. BPW State foundation will have a beer garden with proceeds going to scholarships. Tickets
will be available online.
