BPW/WA Dues Increase

BPW/WA state dues for members have been raised to $25.00 beginning July 1, 2006. This change was made by the vote of the body at State Conference in May at Gig Harbor. National dues are currently $55.00 and will raise to $60.00 on October 1, 2007. National student dues are currently $16.00, and will increase $1.00 in 2007. Each local treasurer should notify national if they have a change in LO dues. Individual members who have been billed from National for their July or August dues probably will not reflect the change on their first billing. A second billing may reflect the $10 increase. During the transition, members who pay the previous amount may have a savings of $10 this year!

Local Memories

Have you started your Scrap Book? Remember we will have a Scrap Book contest at our next Annual Conference... avoid the rush and begin one today for your local.

Suggestion: This can be one of your local’s programs for the month.Have a scrapbooking guest speaker come, ask each member to bring a few photo’s, and make a fun evening of it.

Hot TIP:

Have you ever said, "I wish I had more time?" Has someone said, "All I want for Christmas is a little more time."

Give the gift of time! Gift shopping, wrapping, delivery, meal preparation, menu and event planning, airport runs and cleaning service! For yourself or give the gift of time to someone special.
