Lynie Mathis-Hjelmstad has served on the BPWUSA Individual Development Committee in 2003-2004, 2004-2005, and 2006-2007. She presented the Individual Development Program for the Texas and Missouri Federations, and presented the Train the Trainer for the Oklahoma and Colorado Federations.

Lynie represented the Kansas Federation as the Individual Development participant in 2003 at the BPW/USA National Conference Cleveland. Lynie has served as the LO president of the Greater Wichita BPW and Winfield BPW as well as sat as chair of every committee on the LO level. She is a past BPW/KS 2nd Vice President and Recording Secretary.

Lynie’s educational background includes an MBA with a focus in marketing, Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, certifications in ISO 9000/2001 and she is currently applying for Project Manager Certification.

Lynie moved to Washington following her husband, Kirk, who is an Engineering Scientist for Boeing. Lynie has three independent daughters, and three grandchildren. She is currently attempting to stay dry in her condo on a hill in Tukwila, with a lovely view of Southcenter Mall.

She is actively seeking employment, and spends her leisure time working on developing new moduals for IDP and crotcheting. So, in other words, she is pretty open to lunch invites.

She would love to hear from any bpwsisters via email at bpwlynie@yahoo.com.
