Many years earlier, I dropped in to catch famous jazzman George Benson as he also signed autographs for his fans.

Question: Besides being famous entertainers, what do these two music men have in common? Answer: They were both aboard a Concorde supersonic jet when it made an emergency landing in Newfoundland on 30 July, 2000.  They were very fortunate not to be aboard the Concorde that crashed just days before!
