Recommendations for Nissan Parts

I have two solid recommendations for buying parts for the Villager and Quest. Both are Nissan dealers, so you may need to go elsewhere for Villager specific parts. This would be trim pieces and such... I even ordered a Quest passenger-side remote mirror to replace my Villager one and it was an exact replacement

My first recommendation is Brown and Brown Nissan in Tempe AZ.

Parts line is 800.237.0003

Here's why:

When my 1996 Maxima SE was only a month old, I hit a hunk of metal in the road. It just appeared in front of me, straddled by a pickup truck that was in front of me. It looked like a pieces of railroad track or the like in the split-second that I saw it. I was changing lanes to the right and hit it dead square with both driver's side wheels. Wrecked two rims and blew out a tire. I bought new rims from Brown and Brown. When I got them to NTW for mounting, one of them didn't balance out. Upon inspection, there appeared to be a flat spot on the rim, like it had been dropped on one edge during shipment.

I no longer had the shipping boxes to prove shipping abuse, so B&B was not guaranteed insurance coverage. Also, I was out of a car, and didn't want to wait for the bad wheel to get shipped back before having B&B ship me a new one. NO PROBLEM! They shipped me a new wheel that day. They trusted me to ship back the bent one in the box the new one came it.

WAY COOL!!!

I've done all of my business with them ever since.

Their discount is great, too.

My second recommendation is for Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, TX.

Parts line is 800.527.1909

This parts shop is used by a ton of folks on the Maxima mailing list, and I've yet to hear a complaint. They have been known to give a further discount when folks ask for Steve Richardson and tell him you were refered by Andi on the the Maxima mailing. list...

So try calling them both and comparing. Mention you heard about them on the Villager / Quest FAQ page on the Internet, and maybe they will give US some additional discount? Can't hurt to ask!
