9 YEAR OLD, 12 HAND, FLASHY PALOMINO MARE:

Have a little cowgirl or boy that is looking for a flashy sweet mare to ride - one that has outgrown that little pony but not quite ready for a full sized horse - or a small adult that would love to have something fun to trail ride with... Well Buttercup may just be the one - she has been outgrown by the family that owned her for the past 6 years, and we purchased her as a resale project.. we are not sure she is right for a non-confident beginner at this point as she has been laid off for about 18 months.. but she has had beginners on her before, and logged a lot of miles with family groups in the hills on long trail rides - we have no problem recommending her for a confident beginner and up..

She walks, trots, and lopes - no buck, bite, crowhop - nothing.. she leads, ties, is easy to catch, clips, trims, grooms, baths, worms, has been shod but has great feet naturally - currently she is barefoot; she loads like a dream so she is easy to haul for those walk/trot shows or family trail rides; she is gentle on the ground and gentle under saddle - no spook.. 100% sound, she is 12 hands, UTD on shots, wormings and coggins.. saddles and bridles easily - this mare will fit a small adult, or any child about 7 and up.. leg and seat responsive - but forgiving of mistakes.. good stop - will not run off - backing up is her only issue at this point - she doesn't - but we will continue to work with her on that... She is priced at $1000 until Labor Day.. after that, with more training and time, her price will increase.. Ponies with this build, disposition, and ridability are few and far between...
