As a freelance  Spanish tutor, I have developed a loyal student following through word of mouth. In addition to private classes, I have been recruited to teach corporate language classes at:

Apart from my work as a teacher I have served as cultural  and communication consultant for various media projects including:

  • ˇ      CEDECOM of Spain (November-December, 1999): New York producer for 2 hour television documentary Latido Latino about the social, cultural definition of Latino in New York City at the end of the millennium.
  • ˇ      Nonesuch Records (1998): Interpreter/translator for Cuban recording artist Ibrahim Ferrer of the Buena Vista Social Club. Translator of promotional materials.
  • ˇ      Omni Photo Communications (1997-1998): Image researcher and consultant for the prize-winning three-volume high school Spanish literature textbook series Encuentros (Holt, Rinehart, Winston, 1999).
  • ˇ      Songs of Love (www.songsoflove.org) (2004-present): Writer of personalized songs in Spanish for chronically ill children.
