ABOUT PUERTO VALLARTA
Puerto Vallarta is FAMOUS because:

Puerto Vallarta is a tropical paradise featuring lush jungles and sun drenched beaches. Yet the town provides a balance of civilization, with its Cathedral in the main plaza, and countless opportunities for shopping, dining, and dancing to the music of mariachi and marimba bands. Downtown Puerto Vallarta stretches from Marina Vallarta to the edge of "Old Town" south side Puerto Vallarta.
Gringo Gulch or 'Viejo' Vallarta is a few blocks above the Malecon, with views of the Church, River Cuale and the Bay The first foreign residents chose to build here - giving the area the nickname "Gringo Gulch". It is marked by narrow uphill, winding cobblestone streets, and its Moorish/Spanish "Vallarta" architectural style.
South of the Cuale river is the "Los Muertos" Zone, a 10-minute walk from the Malecon. The area has gone through "regentrification," becoming an eclectic blend of restaurants, gift stores, art galleries, and traditional Mexican tiendas. Basillio Badillo is "restaurant row," offering fine dining establishments. The atmosphere is less hectic than the Malecon. The mix of people gives this area a relaxed atmosphere, from well-heeled international tourists to local residents doing their daily shopping.
The nearby Mismaloya Beach is where the movie, "Night of the Iguana" was filmed. Mismaloya was chosen by famed film director John Huston to be the location for his movie "The Night of the Iguana". Director Huston was drawn to this small, sheltered area of the Bay of Banderas by its tranquillity and spectacular natural beauty. Other famous nearby beaches include the beautiful Quimixto and Las Animas beaches to the south of Puerto Vallarta, which provide fabulous opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing.
Located just north of Puerto Vallarta's International Airport across the Nayarit State border, Nuevo Vallarta has an abundance of shade trees and tropical flowers cover. There are a series of canals and waterways providing an ideal community for boaters. A new marina development 'Marina Norte' is under construction and will enhance existing marine facilities by adding a 500 slip marina.
Bucerías is located approximately 10 minutes north of Nuevo Vallarta. Bucerías has many fine restaurants, services, and a thriving art and jazz community.
A new four-lane highway, has made Costa Banderas a 20 minute drive from Bucerías. Its coast is marked by white sandy shores and rocky prometories of the northern part of the Bay of Banderas. Set against lush tropical foliage, the views are breathtaking.

In "low season" (May 1st to October 31st), the condo rents for $100 per night. In "high season" from November 1st to April 30, the condo rents for $150 per night. Ask about specials we may be running during your vacation time.
