Preston WILSON and Lucinda HENSON married 18 July 1941 in Oklahoma.
They came to California with the HENSON and WILSON families migration. They lived in various homes in Kern County before moving
to Modesto. They lived in rented homes until about 1969, when Preston came in one day and said "Look what I bought
me!"
In November 1970 he was involved in a tragic automobile accident, causing
severe brain damage. He spent the last six months of his life in a Modesto hospital, where he died on 22 April 1971.
As a general rule, Preston was opposed to spending money unnecessarily on insurance, but thankfully
he added the debt cancellation policy to this home loan. Lucinda (also called
Senda and Cindy) continued to live in this home. In 1975, she married Joe Ransom MURRAY and they lived there
for several years.
Lucinda was the daughter of Frank George HENSON & Malinda HENDERSON.
Preston was born in Nov 1913 in Oklahoma.
Father: Milton WILSON, born 1873 in AR or TX

MELTON WILSON CONNECTION
When we lived in Anaheim, California in the 1960's, we visited my husband
John's Aunt Martha, who had been married to Uncle Melton. He had left her with several children, then ranging from
teens to toddlers.
Recent contacts with other descendants from this family have proven that Melton WILSON should receive
the "Black Sheep" Award.
Milton married Gladys Cornilia Carter July 18, 1929 in
White County, Arkansas. His name is spelled Milton and Melton. His death certificate refers
to him as Melton, as he was known in California, but his other families show his name spelled as Milton.
It seems Milton was not the ideal father figure. He had two wives and several children
before he came to California and married Martha.
He moved to Illinois after leaving Martha and married
Eva Pelton. He was married to her until his death on April 28, 1977. He is
buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewiston, Illinois. His headstone says 'Milton.'
