He married Almeda Elizabeth Ewing on December 5, 1884 in
Barry County, Missouri. She was born November 19, 1865 in Three Forks, Gallatin County, Montana. Her
parents were Anderson Shaffer Ewing and Exile Liberty Parker. Almeda died April 16,1902 near Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Her grave has not been located.
Auston Carr married Lena Josie Ann Rivers and
they spent their last days in the small town of Blanco, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. He died August 8, 1944 at home in
Blanco and Lena died October 7, 1947 in the nearby town of Kiowa. They are buried side by side in the Blanco Cemetery.
