In addition, the URL to this page is provided automatically as a reminder on every shopping cart receipt and in every email autoresponse. Thus, customers are solely responsible for becoming familiar with this information. By using the website and making a purchase, the consumer agrees to, and agees to abide by, company policies in toto as outlined herein. International customers may request a copy of these contents in the following languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portugese, Dutch. We apologize for not being able to supply additional language content.

Ordering

Customers are responsible for reviewing all website information before making a purchase. International customers are responsible for reviewing website information regarding international orders in addition to reviewing main website material. Shipping costs do not cover customs, duty or import fees or taxes, but only cover the cost of shipping carrier, order handling and insurance to the destination country. The customer is solely responsible for any customs, duty or import fees or taxes levied by the destination country.
By using the website and placing an order, the customer acknowledges that he or she has reviewed all pertinent information contained in the Violetwanda, LLC websites and agrees to all terms of use, company policies, liability waiver and other materials contained herein.

Substitutions

Regarding the contents of pre-bulit (package) new kits, the company reserves the right to make substitutions or replacements without notice for any out-of-stock or discontinued items noted as being contained in the kits, with similar items of equal or greater value.

Shipping

It was not all that long ago that everyone was accustomed to hearing or seeing the very familiar words "Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery." While the internet age has reduced overall delivery time of consumer ordering with faster communications between credit card processors, Violetwanda, LLC's order processing schedule remains unique because of several factors.
  • Violetwanda, LLC is an apprentice-based craft business with a BDSM-driven policy direction rather than a strictly retail forum. Part of our manufacturing and processing schedules is dictated by the limits of our staff. Not just anyone can be hired off the street to vacuum-blow noble gas-filled violet wand electrodes, for example. The production and repair of our art form requires highly specialized skills. While we are certainly willing to train, there will remain a minimal staff.
  • It is important to note that the time we spend processing your order, is exclusive of the time it takes the shipper to deliver your item once it has been shipped. We ship only once per week during the major part of the year, with extra shipping days over the Christmas season.
  • Most items are delivered in 10 days with some items delivering longer. Any kits with customer-requested or other tailoring to personalized requests may experience longer processing.

With online shopping, of course people are more accustomed to large companies that can pull mass-produced items from stock bins and send them out the next day. NONE of our items are mass-produced and we have no assembly lines or automated manufacturing. They require specialized skills in working with them as well as special handling, and we don't sacrifice quality in order to rush the process.
  • Add to this, the fact that the company is only one of 2 violet wand parent companies in the world, and the company is the only violet wand parent company to ship worldwide, and it becomes clear that demand can be quite high.
  • the company standards are exacting, as safety is paramount. YOUR safety is paramount. Thus items are checked and rechecked by two persons at separate stages in the process. We take our time so that you can play with confidence.
  • Our slower pace allows us to spend more time in servicing our previous customers as well, as our service does NOT end with the sale. For example, we still keep in touch with all of our customers, some going back years, who may have new questions, want to send their wand back for servicing after a few years, or who are looking for some unusual items that we can locate. In addition, all of our customers receive lifetime repair services as part of their warranty on our own items, and so our service orders and repairs also have to fit into our single operations schedule.
  • And finally, credit card fraud on the internet is problematic, especially for adult-related businesses such as the company Our anti-fraud policies require us to wait until funds have actually transferred from your credit card issuing bank into our credit card processing bank and are confirmed, before an order begins process. This rigid anti-fraud measure means we are able to keep credit card fraud to an absolute minimum, thus protecting our customers as well as keeping us from having to pass the increased costs of fraud on to our customers.

Your order is a unique product, and we take our time. This smaller, slower and personalized pace is quite different than what you may find elsewhere, but we are committed to keeping it in order to meet all the factors outline above, and in order to ensure the highest quality you can expect. This means that there are no RUSH orders. We handle all purchases in the order that they are received, as well, to be equally fair to all customers. Yes, this is unusual in a time when someone who shells out a few more bucks can receive faster processing at most other places, but its more important to us to keep our individually personalized service.
We will not take C.O.D orders. It is not only time-consuming to package and ship items by C.O.D. which then aren't paid for at destination, but it subjects our unique wands to unnecessary shipping back and forth. This increases their risks of damages.



Orders, Rush Orders, and Our Shipping Schedule

We are sorry, but there are no rush orders. We must and will, take our time. This is because one leg of a violet wand is connected to Household mains electricity, and thus safety must be our number ONE priority. Do not ask us to sacrifice safety for convenience, as we will not rush any part of the process. Our production, inspection and shipping schedules stand.


Credit Cards

Our shopping cart requires your billing address be exactly the same as shown on your credit card billing statement to protect against credit card fraud.
Credit cards processing from some other countries may require us to ask for additional information to verify you are the owner of the card. We do understand discretion however, and will gladly ship to a second address if you enter a different address into the "Customer Comments" section of the shopping cart.
Customer information is not kept. Once your order ships, your name, your email address and the item(s) you purchased are kept only for your warranty.
Certain specific countries have higher incidents of credit card fraud; purchases made to those countries will require payment by bank wire transfer.


Auction Sites

the company may post items on various internet auction sites. Off-site internet auctions of the company items are provided only as a convenience to auction site users to receive specific the company items at a discount over the main the company website shopping cart. Winning bidders or buyers from such auctions are provided a link to this company policy page in the response email from the company that is automatically sent from the auction site at auction close. Auctions may end on a certain day, but the company does not begin processing auction orders until payment is received from the winning bidder or buyer.

We do not take Paypal for any auction items. Paypal prohibits the use of its service for transactions involving adult items. Auctions may be paid by credit card, check or money order. Please do NOT send your credit card information by email for your own information security. the company does not use third party auction checkouts, due to the small number of discounted items offered by the company on internet auction sites. If winning bidders or buyers are paying by credit card, they will be directed to leave their credit card information by phone. Credit card information provided by the winning bidder or buyer must exactly match information on their credit card billing statement to be accepted by our credit card processing bank, in order to protect both the company and the consumer from credit card fraud.

Any items won or purchased from the company at any internet auction sites, are placed in our normal order processing schedule, irrespective of any posted auction site policies. As such, they are treated first come, first served to be most fair to all customers, and are shipped according to our shipping schedule as noted elsewhere on this page. Internet auction site items are not trackable from the company's searchable shopping cart, as they are placed outside the shopping cart. Internet auction bidders or buyers may email for status of their orders.


Internet Consumer Fraud Protection

Internet credit card fraud is rampant, especially in internet adult businesses. Therefore, for your protection, and to meet requirements for our credit card processing bank, the following anti-fraud measures are in place:
  • Credit card orders must provide billing addresses that are exactly the same as the address on your credit card billing statement. Spelling errors or different zip codes can return shopping cart or card processing errors.
  • Credit card orders placed in the shopping cart, are required to show the consumer's name exactly as it appears on the credit card. See above.
  • Credit cards may be debited by your credit card issuing bank at the exact moment of your shopping cart order. HOWEVER, no orders will be shipped until transferred funds are received by our credit card processing bank. This is usually 3-4 days after order placement for US credit cards, and 3-5 days for International credit cards. Orders begin process only when funds are confirmed to have transferred.
  • Certain countries where internet credit card fraud is at an extremely high rate, are prohibited from using the online shopping cart
  • Customers placing orders from some countries where internet credit card fraud is more common, or where bank information is not complete, may be required to send additional documentation to complete their order. These may include, but not be limited to: photo scans of credit card used, additional identification information, or additional bank information. Failure to provide additional requested information will cancel the order.
  • A $1500 total order cap has been locked into the shopping cart
  • Where the company has articulable reason to suspect an example of fraud under recommended Federal and financial ecommerce guidelines, the company will flag the suspect credit card, IP address and/or name of buyer, cancel any transactions, and cease business and/or communication with the individual
  • Additional Anti-fraud protection measures may be implemented at any time without notice.



  • Order Confirmation

    Immediately after you place your order through the shopping cart, an automatic email confirmation/receipt is sent out by our shopping cart service. This serves as the only confirmation of your purchase and contains all necessary information. HOWEVER....some Internet Service Providers automatically block third party source email as spam. (If you have an AOL email address, it is unlikely you will receive our email confirmation, as AOL blocks 3rd party mailings.) This email receipt is not spam, as it is a transaction-based email that you have asked to receive by initiating your purchase. We apologize if your ISP stops the automatic email message and does not deliver it to you, but we can not be responsible.


    Order Tracking

    Our order tracking is automated and you can check on the status of your order at any time by using the form to access your Personalized Order Page (POP). The form is also located in our online ordering page, the customer service page, or from our online store. Use the order number you received on your email order receipt, and enter the order number into the form. Your order number is probably very similar to your customer ID number on your email receipt, so be sure to enter the ORDER number. It will show you the status of your order during order processing. You can read about the status levels and what is happening to your order at each level at our online ordering page. If you have placed an order through our shopping cart, keep in mind we will not answer any emails requesting information about your order status. We don't keep anyone chained to a computer to answer email, and time spent answering status requests that you can check on yourself, means time away from the production and processing line. You can check on the status of your order at any time and at your own convenience. We will only answer email requests about order status if your order was placed through other means than the shopping cart. Our order status information is updated each time there is a change in the process. WE POST YOUR SHIPMENT TRACKING INFORMATION BEFORE THE SHIPPER DOES, so please allow the shipper (USPS) sufficient time in business days to update tracking information.
    If you have placed your order outside the shopping cart (either through an email correspondence or telephone, then you will not receive a searchable order number. We will answer your email requests to check on the status of your order. Again, keep in mind that we do not keep anyone chained to a computer and depending upon where your order is in the process, it may take a few days to answer your request.
    When inquiring about the status of your order that was placed outside the shopping cart, please include your full information so that we may assist you.


    Customer Security, Privacy and Information

    The security and privacy of your information is important. In addition to the rules for information handling by the company supplied below, there is no ability to cross reference information between storage sources: e.g.; between shopping cart and hard copy warranty. the company will dispose of all non-necessary customer information once the transaction is complete, or information is automatically disposed of, under the following rules:
    • Shopping Cart information: Once the printed invoice is sent with an order, the company does not retain order information locally. Any order information is kept on a remote server by SecureNetShop, LLC. Original order information is retrievable by the company for 90 days to ensure order fulfillment including returns or replacements. After 90 days, ordering information is disposed, and made non-retrievable with the following exceptions: the order number, the customer name and address, and the order items are retained from the original order information for warranty fulfillment.
    • Information on orders placed outside the shopping cart: Transaction summaries minus credit card information are kept on a remote server by LinkPoint International. Transaction summaries include transaction approval codes (AVS), cardholder name and IP address used as well as order total. Credit card numbers and other sensitive information are not retrievable by the company
    • Warranty information on hard copy and returned by the consumer is retained indefinitely
    • Email addresses used in corresponding with the company are retained within the E. E. mailing list. No other contact information such as name of the consumer, street address or purchase information, is kept with the email addresses in the mailing list. Email addresses within the mailing list are filed by type: general purchase, wand purchase, etc.
    • Invoices: ONE (1) hardcopy of the order invoice is printed for order processing, which is mailed with the last packages shipped with the order. the company does not keep any copies of hardcopy invoices
    • the company requests the consumer to voluntarily supply a scene name with their invoice as additional means to respect privacy
    • General emails: the company disposes of all general, non-specific email correspondence immediately upon resolution of the email
    • Email transaction receipts: the company retains email transaction receipts sent automatically from LinkPoint International, as sensitive consumer information is not provided in the receipts



    Email, Spam and the CAN Spam Act of 2003

    Violetwanda, LLC does its best to comply with the Federal CAN SPAM Act of 2003. Under the stipulations of said Act, (the complete wording of the Act is here,) the company will:
      send out transaction, relationship based emails to you
    • to facilitate, complete, or confirm your commercial transaction with the sender (the company) that the recipient (you) has previously agreed to enter into with the sender, (the company);
    • to provide warranty information, product recall information, or safety or security information with respect to (the company) commercial products or services used or purchased by the receipient (you);
    • to provide--
    • notification concerning a change in the terms or features of;
    • notification of a change in your standing or status with respect to; or
    • a SUBSCRIPTION, membership, account, loan, or comparable ongoing commercial relationship involving the ongoing purchase OR USE BY THE RECIPIENT OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OFFERED BY THE SENDER (the company);(notably, your warranty with the company and LIFETIME repair and customer service and information service provided to you by the company, and subscription to the company newsletter, both included in the cost of your purchase)
    • to deliver goods or services, including product updates or upgrades, that the recipient is entitled to receive under the terms of a transaction that the recipient has previously agreed to enter into with the sender.
    • that provide clear and conspicuous identification and clear and conspicuous notice of the opportunity to decline to receive further commercial electronic mail messages from the sender (instructions to OPT-OUT)
    • that do not include any material depicting explicit sexual conduct
      In addition, the company will
    • make every effort not to send additional email more than 10 days after the recipient requests not to receive further emails from the company with the understanding that such email removal procedures are automatically initiated and my not complete properly on the first attempt
    • not sell, lease, exchange, or otherwise transfer or release the electronic mail address of the recipient (including through any transaction or other transfer involving mailing lists bearing the electronic mail address of the recipient) for any purpose other than compliance with the CAN SPAM ACT or other provision of law.


    Services Orders and Repairs

    We are an international business with customers worldwide. This means that we can not man a telephone line 24 hours a day without incurring extremely high overhead that we must pass along to our customers. To keep our prices beneficial to you, initial customer service is handled through email. When we receive your email, we will give you further instructions.
    Remember, you're not the only customer we're dealing with. When you request service, request a refund, request a replacement item, etc., you will be placed in queue. Like our orders, we deal with services on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be patient! All refunds and credit card refunds are issued monthly during batch processes. And we still will only ship once per week for any items receiving repairs, etc, just as we do for original orders. Allow for sufficient turn around time. Wand repairs and servicing: generally, our repairs have a 4-6 week time period after receiving the item. You may track service on your item, by using your original order number and your Personalized Order Page (POP).

    the company Qualified Service Persons

    the company service persons establish and maintain their own individualized business, contact, and service policies. While the company will not intervene in any fashion between a service requestor and an the company qualified service person, the company will assist in facilitating contact and communications.

    Contacting the company

    the company email contact information is contained in the website. Additional contact information (address and phone number) is distributed to customers with their original shopping cart receipt. Customers are responsible for printing or noting this information.
    the company provides complete information on the website. the company facilities are closed over weekends, holidays and at other occasions with no notice. Emails are answered during normal business hours; however, email volume may be high and inquirers should expect replies normally within 2-4 business days. There may be occasional longer delays in receiving responses. In addtion, the company reserves the right to not respond to email queries that can be answered easily by reviewing the information that is posted on the the company website. Due to time contstraints, volume of queries and the substantial number of customers to serve, the company also reserves the right not to respond to repetitive queries that have already been answered by the company previously.


    Communications and Tolerance Policy

    We are very proud of our 98.96% customer satisfaction rate. However, we do understand that we can not please everyone, every time. Please understand that our company's legal policies have been developed to protect our customers and ourselves against fraud, to protect our customers from increased costs, to protect our operations, and to ensure that every customer is treated fairly. Please do not ask us to waive company policy or procedures, as we will not do so. We value our customers very highly but can not change our policies or procedures just because something doesn't suit a single individual. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience our adherence to policy and procedures may cause. Any threatening, criminally abusive, or illegally harassing communications to us or our employees, or other activities that could be construed as criminal or illegal, will result in being restricted from making further purchases, removal from our mailing list, and immediate cessation of business and communications with the initiator -WITHOUT NOTICE- and without appeal. We strictly reserve the right to refuse further business and to reject further communications in such instances. We thank you for your understanding.
    In addition to the above, communications or acts that constitute terroristic threats or libel shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of applicable criminal and/or civil laws. Communications or acts that constitute violations of Internet Service Provider Terms of Service shall be reported to individual ISPs.


    Order Cancellations

    Credit card orders that are cancelled after the credit card transaction has been processed, will be charged the card service fees for the cancellation transaction. This is because your credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) charges us a fee to process BOTH your initial transaction AND charges us a fee to process your cancellation. This double-barrel bang is something we are reluctant to pass along to our other customers for you, nor can we be solely responsible for your change of mind. Of course we will foot the fee for your initial transaction, but you must cover ALL bank fees (both your card-issuing bank, and our card processing bank) that are imposed to process your cancellation. You are an adult, and no one is responsible for your change of mind but you. Full breakdown of bank-imposed fees will be provided.
    Telephone or mail orders that are cancelled before payment is made, will not be charged a fee.
    Orders can not be cancelled once they have shipped. After an order has shipped, it falls under returns, refunds and replacements.


    Warranty

    THE BUYER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR READING USER MANUALS AND BECOMING FAMILIAR WITH TERMS OF WARRANTY, including misuse that voids our warranty. Only the company certified repair persons are qualified to work on the company wands in ANY fashion. ANY repair, modification, or alteration, either completed or attempted to any part of a wand, (including wand cords, wand handset or wand electrical box), no matter how small, that is not undertaken by an the company certified repair person, WILL immediately void your warranty without appeal. You must complete and mail in your warranty information as directed, in order to activate your warranty. Most the company items are warranteed 90 days against defect with one year on parts. Wands are covered by lifetime repair services, with reasonable cost of repair and labor attached to the end consumer. Glass breakage is not covered by warranty.
    Our warranties are for 90 days against defect. It is solely at Violetwanda, LLC's discretion to repair a defect under warranty, or to replace the item. Repairs shall be the first choice, and if the item can not be repaired, a replacement will be made. All warranty services shall be treated the same as general service orders. See the section on servicing and repairs for further information.


    Backorders, Rainchecks and Substitutions

    While the company manufactures the bulk of its retail products, some kit accessories, wand accessories, and all non-wand related products are not manufactured by the company In addition, shoping cart inventory may not update immediately after a purchase that removes remaining on-hand stock. As such, on-hand stock for non-the company produced items can not be guaranteed. It is understood by all parties, that backorders and rainchecks, while not ideal, are intrinsic and natural to retail operations. Where a backorder occurs, the following shall apply:
    • If a single item is ordered and it is on backorder, the customer will be notified by email. The customer may request a refund or replacement at that time. If the customer does not respond with instructions to the contrary, the item shall be kept on backorder and shall ship when in stock.
    • If an order is placed for multiple items, and a single item is on backorder, the in-stock portion of the order shall be sent. It shall be noted on the packaging invoice, that the item is on backorder. The customer may request a refund or replacement by email after receiving the notice. If the customer does not respond with instructions to the contrary, the item shall be kept on backorder and shall ship when in stock.
    • Where any contents of a pre-built wand kit are on backorder, the wand kit will be sent, with any backordered parts noted on the packaging invoice. It shall be noted that pre-built wand kits are priced substantially lower than the retail value of their individual components, and many kit contents are included 'free' or as a bonus with a kit, or as part of the package deal. Thus, no refunds will be made for accessories or parts inclusive to a pre-built wand kit that are on backorder. The inclusive accessories that are out of stock will be kept on backorder and shall ship when in stock.



    Returns, Refunds and Replacements

    We do wish to do all we can to make your experience with us as smooth as possible. To ensure that we remain fair to all customers and keep our prices as friendly as possible, all returns, refunds, exchanges and buybacks must be made within our established company policies. We have established these policies both to ensure our customers receive refund or credit where appropriate and so that we do NOT pass unneccessary costs on to our other customers.

    All refunds and credit card refunds are issued monthly during batch processes. See "Order Cancellations" on this page for additional terms.

    General Warranty:
    Our warranties are for 90 days against defect. It is solely at Violetwanda, LLC's discretion to repair a defect under warranty, or to replace the item. Repairs shall be the first choice, and if the item can not be repaired, a replacement will be made. All warranty services shall be treated the same as general service orders. See the section on servicing and repairs for further information.

    General Return Policy:
    We accept returns for refund ONLY on defective merchandise that is still under our warranty. For merchandise whose warranty has expired, we provide repair services. Non-defective items may be returned during the warranty period for store credit or exchange ONLY. We may accept certain types of other returns for store credit or exchange at our discretion. ALL returns require authorization.

    Unauthorized returns:
    Unauthorized returns for non-defective merchandise will be subject to re-stocking fees (before 15 days) or rental fees (after 15 days.)

      My order was lost during shipping
      Loss of your purchase from us is covered by the US Postal Service and is included in your shipping and handling costs. If you do not receive your package:
    • Inform us that your package has not arrived within the expected delivery time
    • We will file a trace and a claim for you with the post office as soon as the Post office time requirements permit, and send a copy of the claim to you
    • When the Postal Service notifies us that your package has not been delivered to you and is unrecoverable, we will refund your full purchase price, or send you a replacement. This is an unfortunate but necessary step to protect our customers from costs associated with fraudulent buyers who receive their purchases but claim they did not

      My item from you was damaged during shipping
      Damage to your purchase is covered by the US Postal Service and is included in your shipping and handling costs. If your purchase sustains damage during shipping, you must take the following steps to recover your full purchase price:
    • Save all packing materials. The Post office requires you to bring all packing materials for a claim of damage during shipping.
    • Email us for the value of the loss.
    • Take your package, packing materials and item to the post office to file a claim. The post office will send us a form for us to verify the value of the loss.
    • We will return the form to the post office immediately.
    • The postal service will pay you directly for your loss.

      International Losses and Damages
      Damage to your purchase or loss is covered by the US Postal Service. This insurance coverage is included in your shipping and handling costs. If your purchase sustains damage during shipping:
    • Immediately email us, describing the damages in detail.
    • We will submit a loss claim for you. The claim may require additional documentation such as a signed letter from you or an invoice from us.
    • We will send you copies by mail of all claim documents.
    • Once the claim is submitted, all claims are sent to a national office for processing. We have no way of knowing where it may be in the US Postal Service system or how long it may take.
    • When the claim is paid out, you will receive the funds for your loss.
    • If a LOSS claim takes excessively long AND IF we have confirmation from the USPS that your item was NOT received by you, we will cover your claim ourselves and refund your loss, then the US Postal Service payment will be tendered to us.

    I received defective merchandise from you
    We take returns for refund ONLY on defective merchandise. While we and our other various manufacturers do practice excellent quality control and we also examine all orders prior to shipment, occasionally something will slip through.
    If you have received defective merchandise in error, please read the paragraph(s) below that apply to your order.

    New standard (Master) wands still under manufacturer warranty
    1. If you have purchased a new standard (Master) wand and it is defective upon arrival to you, we can refund your purchase price of the wand itself, replace, or repair the wand or give you store credit at our discretion.
    2. Please see the troubleshooting instructions in your manual, as sometimes wand components can be disrupted during shipping and the wand is actually not defective.
    3. After following the troubleshooting instructions in your wand manual, and your wand still will not operate properly, please notify us.
    4. Wands that are included in kits will be replaced or refunded to the value of the wand handset itself ONLY. NO refunds are made for the rest of the kit if the kit itself or its components are not defective.
    5. After you receive your authorization number from us, Return ONLY the wand to us. You must insure the package with the returned wand for the wand's full value, as we can not accept uninsured packages.
    6. Kits or wand components that are sent to us in error will be returned at the customer's expense.
    7. We will return the wand immediately to the manufacturer, who makes the determination if the warranty has been voided by misuse.
    8. Upon manufacturer notification that the wand was defective, we will refund your full purchase price or replace the wand, or give you store credit.
    9. If the manufacturer determines the wand was damaged through misuse, we reserve the right to make partial refunds, replacements or provide store credit at our discretion. This may vary from instance to instance.

    New (Erotec or Pedigree series) wands
    1. New ceramic or polymer capacitor (Erotec or Pedigree series) wands are under our own warranty
    2. If you have purchased a new wand and it does not operate properly, please see the troubleshooting instructions in your manual.
    3. After following the troubleshooting instructions in your manual, and the wand still does not operate properly, you may return it to us under our own limited warranty. You must receive an authorization number to do so.

    Vintage violet rays
    1. Vintage violet rays and kits are under our own warranty.
    2. If your violet ray does not operate properly, please follow the troubleshooting instructions in your manual.
    3. After following the troubleshooting instructions in your manual, and the wand still does not operate properly, you may return it to us under our own warranty.
    4. You must receive an authorization number to make a return. When you have received your authorization number from us, Return ONLY the wand itself to us. You must insure the package with the returned wand for the wand's full value, as we can not accept uninsured packages.
    5. Do not return any portion of any kit that was included with the wand. Kits, electrodes or components that are returned to us in error will be sent back at the customer's expense. We can not be responsible for loss or damages to any parts of kits that were sent to us in error, though we will purchase insurance for you.
    6. Vintage wands still under warranty will be repaired free of charge, or replaced at our discretion.
    7. Vintage wands still under warranty that can not be repaired or replaced will receive store credit.
    8. Vintage wands that are no longer under our warranty will be repaired for the cost of parts and labor.

      How long do I have before I have to make the return for defective merchandise?
    • Notification that you have received defective merchandise must be made to us within 7 days after the defect becomes apparent, or within 7 days of being delivered to the customer.
    • Return of the defective merchandise to us must be made within 15 days after you receive return authorization.

      I want to return Non-defective merchandise
      1. Occasionally, a customer will wish to make a return on an item they received in good, working condition. We accept returns on non-defective merchandise for store credit ONLY.
      2. The returned merchandise must be returned to us in the same condition in which it left us.
      3. We must have notification that you wish to return the non-defective merchandise within 7 days of delivery to you.
      4. Re-stocking fees will apply on all returns of non-defective merchandise and will be deducted from the store credit.
      5. Returns must have pre-authorization. Please email us for an authorization number before making any returns.
      6. Damages that are done to our merchandise by the consumer will be deducted from the store credit.

      I'm returning non-defective merchanise anyway without an authorization number
    • Where customers wish to make returns outside of our established policies, the following will apply:
    • Non-defective items that are returned to us without authorization within 15 days will be subject to a re-stocking fee of 15%. This protects us from fraudulent customers who 'buy' a wand only long enough to test it or take to an event, then want to return it after having had free use of it, (and after it can no longer be defined as 'new'.) There is NO FREE USE OF OUR EQUIPMENT, and rental fees or re-stocking fees will apply. Such re-stocking fees are standard practice among major violet wand dealers. This re-stocking fee covers not only manhours and labor required to re-stock items, but covers the increased risks involved to equipment, glass and electronic components subjected to unnecessary shipping back and forth.
    • Non-defective items that are returned to us without authorization after 15 days will be subject to rental fees at the rate of $20/day per wand, or 8% of the price per day for other items and wand kits. This is a very reasonable rental fee. There is no free use of our merchandise.
    • Non-defective items that are damaged by the customer in an effort to get a refund will be sent back at the customer's expense. "You break it, you bought it", is another policy standard to many companies, including ours. Don't worry, we know the difference between intentional damage and defect, so if you have a legitimate return it won't be an issue.
    • Returns that are made for defective merchandise that turns out to be non-defective will be treated as unauthorized returns.
