Our Layaway Policy

We know violet wands are significant purchases, investments that you count on using for years to come. Our customers have asked for flexible payment plans. Layaway plans are available on our larger items, or any purchase over $399. Not only does this make it flexible for your budget, but we set aside your item(s) with your name, ensuring availability. You Terminator kit will have YOUR name tag on it, from the time you make your first payment. Or your assorted toys will not risk being out of stock later.

To begin a layaway plan on a purchase, simply order in the shopping cart as usual. Then, when checking out, follow these steps:

• choose "TELEPHONE PAYMENT" or "MAIL" as your preferred method of payment
• In the CUSTOMER COMMENTS SECTION" type "layaway"
• Don't enter any payment information, or credit card information
• Complete checkout
• We will email you with the amount of the first payment due. Then you can complete the first payment by telephone (with your credit card) or by mail (with your check or money order.) Now your order is on held for you on layaway.

Worried about missing a payment? Don't worry, we'll email you, or we can set up automatic billing for credit cards, if you prefer.

Layaway terms:

By initiating a layaway plan, customers agree to the following:

Layaway fees amount to .03 of the total price including shipping, handling and insurance, distributed equally for the layaway term. Layaway items are set aside after the first payment is received and held until the last payment is received, and shipped upon receipt of last payment.

Making Payments: Layaway invoices are sent by email. Invoices are due to be paid within 10 days of receipt of the invoice, or at other agreed upon arrangement between the purchaser and Eclectic Electric. Layaway payments can be spread out as long as six months.

Late or non-payments: In the event payments are not made on time, or payments on the layaway end without notice, any collected funds will be held for a term of sixty days after the last payment was made. Repeated attempts will be made to contact you by email, and then to the telephone number you provide. If something has come up, we're more than understanding, and can extend a layaway beyond the terms until you can make regular payments again.
Sixty-one days after the last payment was made, collected funds can then be returned upon the customer's request, minus a re-stocking fee applied at .12 of the collected funds.

Ending a Layaway by request: Layaway plans can be ended early by the customer. In the event a customer decides to end a layaway plan early, collected funds will be held for a term of thirty days after the last payment was made. Thirty-one days after the last payment was made, collected funds can then be returned to the customer minus re-stocking fees applied at .10 of the collected funds.

Different plans: Layaway plans with terms that differ from those above and agreed upon by both the customer and Eclectic Electric, will have those terms supersede the general terms.
