TRITON ANALYTICS CORPORATION
(TAC) is extremely proud of the expertise of the technical staff.
- Dan C. Villalanti, President of Triton Analytics was
a staff chemist at Shell Development Co., Houston. He specialized
in hydrocarbon analysis with emphasis on refinery optimization
and environmental protection. Villalanti earned BS and Ph.D.
degrees in chemistry from the University of Arizona. Over 11
years at Shell, he made advances in chromatographic separations,
octane number prediction and clean fuels. Villalanti is active
in ASTM committee work and serves as a referee for Journal
of Chromatographic Science.
- Calvin Blakley is director of Mass Spectrometry. Blakley
was previously with PerSeptive Biosystems developing laser desorption
time-of-flight mass spectrometers and liquid chromatograph-mass
spectrometric interfaces. Dr. Blakley holds two patents in this
field. He received his BS in Chemistry from Michigan State University
and his Ph.D in Physical Chemistry at Yale. Blakley joined Triton
in 1996, bringing over 25 years experience in mass spectrometry.
- Kati Tittel, Analytical Chemist and Business Manager.
Kati has combined experience in analytical chemistry and biochemistry
with 4 years at Shell Development Company in analytical support
and method development for emerging Chemical Product Development
and 2 years in recombinant DNA technology at Baylor College of
Medicine. Following 11 years as the owner and sole practitioner
of a private dental practice, Kati joined Triton in 2003. She
holds a BS in Microbiology with minors in Chemistry and Biochemistry
from Colorado State University, and a Doctorate from the University
of Texas Health Science Center - Houston.
