Aubrey and Linda, the proprietors, cordially invite you to their home. It is considered a haven from the hectic world that we now live in. They trust that you will find peace and relaxation during your stay.

This beautiful, stately, Federal style home was built in 1925 and is registered with the National Historic Society. It's eclectic furnishing of antiques are embellished with items of homemade crochet, afghans, and quilts that warm the soul.

Not only will your soul be pampered by the fires in the welcoming fireplaces, your body can relax with the refreshing hot tub under the stars.

The owners take great pride in the presentation of a full breakfast that includes hot coffee, juice, bacon, eggs, and steaming homemade biscuits and jam. It is guaranteed to get the day started on the right foot. The menu is versatile.

The North bedroom is furnished with a comfortable bed and private bath. Nostalgic teddy bears, rocking chairs, and eyelet curtains bring childlike comforts to the heart.

One may sink into the luxury of a featherbed (optional) with sweet dreams just around the corner. The majestic oak bed welcomes one after a day of activity and sleeps comfortably. A private bath is included.

Victoria's Hearth is located in Eden, within a short walk of  historic "Olde Leaksville," the first organized settlement in Rockingham County. We are 1hr. from P.T.I. Airport in Greensboro, NC, and 1 and 1/2 hr. from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. The Martinsville Speedway is only a short 30 min. drive for all the race fans. For the roadrace lovers it is a 45 min. ride to Virginia International Raceway .
 
For the golfer two public and one semi-public golf courses are within 15 minutes.  Greensboro National Golf Club is about 30 minutes away. 

Some local attractions include Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain State Parks. If you enjoy your time on the water, "Three Rivers Outterfitters" will be glad to set you up with a canoe, kayak, or innertube. They will also set you up a ride on a historic batou boat used to transport cargo on the river during the early 1700's, if you desire.  

The High Point Funiture Market is held twice a year and the Wyndham Championship of Greensboro offers professional golf in August. A little further away is the NC Zoo in Asheboro and the Burlington Outlet Malls.

Virginia offers some local attractions as well with the Va. Natural Science Museum and Philpot Lake . The annual Hillsville Flea market and gun show always draws a huge crowd.

For your added convenience we can also have wedding, bridal, or baby showers. Small weddings and receptions with photography is available.  We accomodate teas for civic groups and we have been a regular stop for the Red Hat Society. For more information on  reservation and directions you can call at 1-336-280-0496 or E-mail us at vhbb@earthlink.net.  We are not set up to take credit cards at this time. We will, however, accept company or personal checks and of course cash . Our rates are $ 90.00 per night plus sales and occupancy tax. With the exception of the 15th of March through April and October,our peak months the rates are $199.00  plus taxes for rooms. We are looking forward to spending some time with you and we hope to see you soon.
